Levy was driving a horse and wagon

was a race riot; jumped on my protection.
The boy, in dire desperation to protect
himself, used their own weapon
effectively. Any one is endangered in use
whatever he may be in a case of this
kind, so I am going to discharge Levy,
for the evidence shows the white boys
to be the aggressors." Levy was re-
pulsed by Attorney Paul Holleb

New School Needed
Of the many new schools needed on the South Side, where a majority of our children attend, is the Coleman Mills and Dearborn streets, of which Fair-minded, enthusiastic principal women have petitioned the school board for an addition to the Coleman street without avail. Principals, discouraged by the lack of training of the building, naturally anxious to get into a school with an equipment adequate to the work to be done. This school, with a building of cops, cails tells the tale. The ample room for a gymnasium, assembly hall, fresh air room, besides space for no new crowded into six secondary schools, is an anex that the children in the school may secure the best possible work.
