WHAT DOES LABOR THINK OF THE NEGRO
Last Monday was Labor Day; a day which was celebrated by all of the unions of the country in speeches, speech making and in general by the American Federation, William Green, in his Detroit speech, called autocracy and communism "used for organization" and cooperation in keenly felt and the workers are determined to work in their efforts to raise their standards of work, to raise how weak and feeble is his position. "Attitudes as these coupled with some actually evident attempts at making the lot of all of them weak enough to allow the situation of all races of them in the unions which have proven to be successful" allow for the employment of such leaders as which are held there would fall with a greater degree of pleasure on the ears of the general counsellor. But his positive exclusion in so many ways leads to the conclusion that he does not mean exactly what it said. He evidently means all laborers;
