I have the bird a singing
And the bells a firing.
Kate has the cook a crowing
For eight is family gobble.
My children they are bumming
The wagons they are coming
All in line.
Mike holds their neighbor
That is honest joker
At the place.
As on my got I lay
A homely Summer day,
With a wandering sun
Playing in music was so enjoyable
Kids among the plane
A swarthy son of Ham
This tune so fine.
Double tine at my door,
Among the plane.
I will invigorate for her to see
How many people can be.
Where they confine
Some spot
Some aneer lot.
Among the plane.
My MAY was please sure
Some comfort square
That hot, Crockett it is

Beauty is the natural endowment of a healthy body. Any girl must have hair and body by formulating a good, forceful circulation of purified blood, muscle, and by forming hydrated bodies of care for the skin, hair, and body.
To maintain a healthy, growing color, the drainage system must be kept active and administration must be kept constant. A portion of the body is affected instantly by clogged, inactive Influenza A virus, bad breath, dark, clurid skin, bad hair, dark, clurid skin, unhealthy body, or an inactive illiminary system.

he never bore the white leather, mother has it been disgraced by the yellow streak. It is not effaced with the floral mound. It is a floral mound, not a mound, which primes us to catch the paning breasts; lines we tombful lines: It professes a uniformity to the beauty of its life. Its love of own hand-faster covers all the sleeveless. This is pretty high ground, but we live on it and are pruning. None of the press came to this ground in holy. W. E. KING.
The time is rapidly coming when those who would need most ship ship something more than letters of introduction from "their" father than of following blindly the road which leads to nowhere. They are demanding results for the color question of time and labor.
Methodist unification employs defeated according to the latest color of the vote of the voice of the color question question has the color question affected religion. And yet once someone that is in it happens that He really will come into the hearts of all men!
Dallas is far, fast becoming an apartment house city, popularly as that is good. But apart houses will not do away with that is good. That is a crying need. Here. It should be filled.
It is often true that those who are simply making excuses for their larceny. There is no need to ask Pate to give to be the larceny. There is no need to out and out for ourselves.
The objectives of the president and members for the executive committee of the Teachers Association were reached last week when more than $1800 teachers enrolled for the year in the state association and more than 1500 of them were present at the meetings held in Dallas. It is estimated by the Secretary that when all reports are in, the membership will have reached over $900. More than two thousand dollars were paid to the teachers for the association were paid, more than $100 retained to the credit of the association. Dallas, through its local committee took the most forward step of the whole meeting by making a gift of $225 to the association as the first deposit on a permanent fund which is to be added by the aspirant from each year's receipt. The amount of the gift was there no other things by which to be guided, there would be reason for the belief that the Negro teachers of the state were interested in the betterment of the conditions under which they are working. The above named things are of a physical nature and not of a financial nature by which the progress of this body was seen. The debates, particularly over the new constitution which was proposed, were sharp but characterized, by none of the bitterness which has been seen in former years. "Politics" of the potty sort was conspicuous by its absences. In fact, the whole of the spiritual tone of the manuscript seems to be higher than it has been in former years.
It is good that this is so. And it is to be hoped that the association is at last, entering upon a career of progress which will result in lasting benefit to the Negro boys and girls of the state. This can happen. This will happen if it is characterized by the past three administrations which has characterized 'the past three administrations'. This must happen. For there is urging need for a counteracting of tendencies in education which seem to have as their aim the submergence of the group in many ways. Negro teachers, through movements which 'get direction from their organization, must make themselves the source of definitive information as to the various aspects of the work in their own folks as they are necessary to the success of their education to that section of education into channels of ever increasing development. They themselves must know the most modern methods and must practice them, constantly seek to obtain 'the best in education for every Negro child.'
The first step in getting ready for the reaching of these objectives has been well taken. Two thousand of former times, prove that there is a difficulty on the part of the members of the profession for these better things. It is left now for the directing heads of each succeeding administration to seek in every way to maintain this interest by making it possible for each memb to get something of benefit from his membership. They must harness this interest by seeking to satisfy the needs of all members of the profession and the careful consideration of the problems of these people will bring a knowledge of how best to do this. The Express is pleased to compend the work of the passing administration and to express the hope that the work of the incoming group may be as full of results. To have an objective and to have satisfactorily reached it, is no mean accomplishment. But as pleased as this may be, it will be of no use to the members of the endeavor is ever reached. There is always room for improvement.
STRANGE HAPPENINGS IN DIXIE
News reports of the past few days have told of the happening of the unusual in Duxbury. First, the news of the conviction of eleven in Anhebwe North Carolina is broadcast. These men were sentenced for terms ranging from six months to one sentence of from four to eight years. Almost no沾沾 with this, with report came the announcement to the effect that a Mississippi sheriff had saved a Negro prisoner from a mob. And last, but not least, the most prominent women of Mississippi have affirmed their operation. And with this meeting we are meeting to the effect that "we believe in only the single standard of morals for all races and unquestionably in the protection of the womanhood of the races. We also believe in the law, and that it should under all circumstances be upheld all of all citizens. Therefore, we deplore mob violence and our protest against lynching or any other form of mob violence." These are strange things. At least, they are strange, in the light of the aptness in rear to law enforcement in the county. And the fact that the mob has now come into the limelight as the result of the brutal mob murder of a Negro of which the picture were taken and sent over the country and in which a member of the mob confessed to a news reporter that he was a member of the mob and that he did not fear any punishment, lynching in his section of the state. But now a sheriff saves a prisoner from a mob and is complimented for his action, the women of the state pass a resolution against mob murder and North Carolina acts the pace for the death of the sentencing mob members in a term though unpunished.
Looked at from one angle, it is a pitiful thing that members of the commonwealth should be forced to take hope from such small evidence of a sentiment for the enforcement of the most fundamental laws of the hand. To overcome this, the mobs could run riot and the lives of citizens taken at will, under consideration like this, seems strange. But it is true, *Hibernation has run riot in the South* and mobs have been condemned. Lives of men have been anufted and mobs have been punished. So literally has this been the case in all of the members of the race, the opinion that our country has slowly but surely crystalized. The migration proved the extent to which this opinion was held. The idle fields of the most fertile sections of the South bear evidence of the fact that hope for improvement had been practically nonexistent generally. But occupations like these give added benefit to mobs who are badly needed. Promises of investigations of lynchings have resulted in nothing. Rewards offered for members of mobs have never been collected. The sneezes of governors denouncing mobs and indicating a desire of the state to act have become so common place as to be greeted with alarm.
It is to be hoped that the example of North Carolina may be followed, frequently by her sister states. Mobs members are nothing less than murderers and they should be dealt with in accordance with the enormity of their crimes. Even though the action of North Carolina broke all southern records, it was a compromise with the strict laws. But it is better than what has usually happened. And it is better than what happens in Dixie, we hope that we are sensible in presuming to hope that they indicate the coming of a better day.
The Pulaski Company has called a conference of all of its workers in the northern and eastern districts, with a view to having them crystallize their sentiment to wage increases and to present them to the company at some future time. Whether or not this action of the part of the Pulaski Company is an attempt to stem the title of the movement for the organization of its workers cannot be determined now. But it is certain that it can be taken. Pulaski Porters

do stand in need of improved working conditions and it is to be boved that this action on the part of the company is but a fore-runner of a program of continual improvement of their lot.
Ulysly rangera of the unaffairness of Ben Davis, recently shone successor to Henry Lincoln Johnson have already been come out of depriving him of the power to forward toward the dictates of the Riue Klux and the Lily white elements. These things sound poorly to those who had hoped, against appearances, that he would prove a worthy successor. Johnson.
