SHOT T Nelson Lacey, ice delivery man and grocery, store proprietor, was shot and killed, Monday, afternoon at his home, 6007 Wesley Street, by his brother-ril-law, M. Thorn, 34, following a family quarrel at the Lacey home. Thorn fired two shots from a 32 Beverage automatic pistol turnover body. Lacey died almost instantly. Thorn was taken into custody Monday night by Deputy Sheriff Hal Town and驻 Welker. F., court Bond was set at $3,500 after the accused. Negro moved a preliminary hearing. After the hearing, the jury hires his friends to make the bond. New York City, July 23—(ANP) Jimmy Murphy, who was injured by infantile paraparesis when he was a baby seven years ago, proved that he was a real buddy to his little brother. He was a good day when he gave blood to save the life of his pal. Jimmy had been in the Long Island Hospital, where he underwent an operation. Here he met Jim Murphy age 11, and the two become real friends. Jimmy faded well after the operation, but was not well with his buddy, who had also been operated upon. In fast the surgeon declared that a blood transfusion was necessary to save Jimmy's life. The blood was necessary but the blood that was white the blood to come from, which was to save Jimmy's life. Jimmy was a pal and a "brother under the skin" and Jimmy was a guard and volunteered to give the blood. The transfusion was made, and Jimmy is on his way to re-enter the hospital.
