Frank Cope Wants Them Closed Because a White Woman Danced on Same Stage With Two Negro Boys.
VOLUME IX.
A HYPOCRITE WANTS THE WHITE WOMAN DAMS WITH TWO
Frank Cope Wants The White Woman Dam With Two
We would like to Frank Cope, the commissioner than a Social and Kinsman woman, who claims to follow in the footsteps of the New Yorker, to get his own released mind clean before attempting to pose as a hedonist light and Christian example for others. No large-bred pure mulled white man or woman thought anything about the white woman dancing with two little Negro boys, who, by the way, are almost white as Cope. Who is responsible for their comparison?
It is a shame to have the oblivity of any woman questioned in this matter, and when Cope makes such an act, it is a frank admission that he questions the virtue of his women. It is an insult to the white woman who have remained at home unbarmed for months under the protection of colored men and boys, and to have their honor thus assaulted at the late date is more than the self-respecting Christian men and women of other two men willing to stand Cope is a church leader who claims to have his Christian brother, yet when he was acting on a committee from the churches to investigate the running of the theatre on Sunday, he was asked why he objected to the Sunday show. He replied by giving two reasons: First, that there were plays put on that were unfit for young people to see; second, that he saw a white woman acting on the stage with two Negro men; and he was opposed to taking to
A VISIT TO THE EAST!
my trip through the East and
Central America in last September
at all was not met with welcome by
friends Boston is a beautiful city
estimated in Boston Harbor and the build-
ings are large and very pretty, but the
streets are narrow. This is a very busy
metropolis, everybody seems to be in a
great hurry and there is one thing I
motivated that the vehicles and motor cars,
travelers and other visitors should care
to continue to move slowly through
the beautiful district in it there was no
that of accidents, while people cross to
and to in front and behind them some
times when our friends would have to
crowd it seemed at a rate of five miles
in eight seconds to the many busier
streets and plaza resort in and
around it. We call our life a great
journey in this community all the
time we were there on the 17th of
april when we visited Plymouth Beach.
Now this is a fashionable summer
week this being the closing week and
carnival week the Beach was fully
lighted up with beautiful colored moon
dessert lights transformed into different
designs and the entire beach front was
illuminated with beautiful tones of
these different colored lights and build-
ing of many different shapes with the
whole front decorated with lights of di-
tinct colors. This seemed to me a very
table tuxedo and we tried to stay on
the beach until the time in it 12
which pum but our party decided it
was too cool and damp, so we returned
to the city through a tunnel known as
the Interurban Railway. This is partly
tour under the Atlantic Ocean and below
our local. This was our first experience
of its kind so we took a little one out
at once but other passengers seemed to
tell us that we felt that one of
our friends

Mrs. Richard Brookins of this city has returned from a two weeks visit to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wileon, who live near Grace Mount in Oklahoma. Grace Mount is a thriving town located near Anadarko. The country and its people are rapidly developing in wealth and comfort.
Miss Edith Rose Brown, niece of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Bowser, Chicago, was married Thursday, Oct. 10, to Major Franklin Denson of that city Miss Brown will be remembered by most of the society folk of Topeka, having visited here on several occasions with her aunt, and during her stay was a universal favorite. She is one of the most beautiful and accomplished young ladies in all Chicago. She is highly educated and any man should feel honored on being so fortunate in winning such an estimable young lady. The groom is unknown to us and the people of this city, but we are reliably informed that he is one of Chicago's most highly respected citizens and worthy of his bride. They will be at home to their friends after Nov. 10, at 3513 Dearborn Street.
