Whole the hierarchy and business of the country are known, it is understood the president will go West as far as the Pacific Coast, making addresses in support of the constitution. As a marking of the treaty will be followed by formal ratification before commercial relation, with Germany may be resumed, a spirit of cooperation and a file notice of ratification with the French secretary in Paris may be expected to develop. THE DALLAS EXPRESS, DALLAS, TEXAS, SATURDAY, JULY 5, 1919.
Calm of Senata, House and Other Branches of Government Unraffled Even by President's Message.
By Associated Press.
Washington, July 3—Word of the consumption of peace was received by the White House, a flutter of popular or official sentiment, by the White House and the State Department the news aroused only a quiet feeling of satisfaction that the pre-arranged program for the peace conference in Congress was a momentary demonstration, and on the streets the Saturday crowds gave no show.
The story of the historic ceremony, flashed over a direct wire to the State Department, press in brief bulletins, keeping close step with the developments in the Hall of Mirrors. The account of the press interview, out comment by department officials, Wilson's Appeal Made Public.
An Associated Press report concluded, President Wilson's message to the American people announcing the long-awaited event and appealing for change or reservation, was made public at the White House, together with some details of the president's
It was by the reading of this message Congress was informed that the senate had end. It was expected tonight that an official notification would await the arrival of Wilson, and would be presented to the senate at the session of the Senate and House. In the Senate Chamber to which the nation's interest in the outcome of the vote was transferred, announcement of the signing was received in silence. Interviews with the senate and the Hitchock caucus of Nebraska, senior Democrat of the Foreign Relations Committee, read the president's message, which emphasized the pricessing less than half the Senate's membership. Without any comment, he then relinquished the floor and the senate voted to approve the House punctual reading of the message with Applause, and there was a short outburst of cheering at the end. There was no discussion. Finally, senators and representatives of Nations expressed the League of Nations message, white Chairman of the committee, and other opponents of the league covenant had nothing to say.
Senator Borah (Rep.) of Idaho issued a statement on the subject however, in which he bitterly criticized the White House for allowing the White House was not fully advised regarding the president's plan, it was the expectation of officials that he would reach this conclusion immediately to Washington. It was revealed that he expected to land in Washington, but certainly likely he would remain there a few hours to attend a meeting of Wilson's appearance before Congress probably will follow quickly. The president may be delayed a few days because of the plan of Senate leaders to take the floor on the issue. The president's speaking tour for the League of Nations is expected to begin almost as soon as he has been sworn in. Reservations Planned.
The aumnition of the treaty submission to quicken the efforts of Senate leaders opposing its acceptance withholding the vote. Such canvass of Senate sentiment followed by expressions of confidence withdrawn, and necessary majority could be mustered to incorporate reservation clauses.
It became known that some of the reservation exponents are counting the votes of North Dakota, and McNary of Oregon, the only Republican member who have announced their advocacy for the reservation, to give publicity and definite assurance, however, that he was in favor of the actions urged by Eilbu Root and others.
The president's supporters on the other hand, resuscitated their confidence in the reservation, in specific reservation that might be proposed.
During the day of the conferences was to dispel likelihood of action in the near future on the resolution of Senator Full, Republican, of New York, and Senator with Germany. The measure had been expected to come after a spoonful of committee members and the general committee Monday, but no such meeting had been called to night. It is understood determined opposition has been expected to block the plan, committee members and the general prediction tonight was that resolution would be the prospect of a Senate recess after appropriation bills are passed seemed likely to block also the plan of Pennsylvania, for action on his resolution expressing opposition to joint Pennsylvania, for action peace terms and the league covenant.

I am pleased presiding officer will get busy at once and collect all of their Grand Dues and have the same in the C. G. S. office by July 1, 1919. It will save time and money at the Grand Session. We should not go to the Grand Session to call Endowment and Grand Dues. All members who have not paid all their assessments are requested to come to the Grand Session square on Prof. Reid's Book. Exactly at the time of the meeting, appointed to the office by July 1, 1919. All Committees will be appended to the roll. So pay up now, if you desire to be on the committee. All who are coming send their names to Sir H. Hawthorne, C. M. and D. G. M., Waco, Board, three meals per day, $1.50 cents. This should be of work and not speech-making.
We have been promised reduced rates on all railroads coming to Waco. A Circle will follow. Every man and woman should come to Waco to govern yourself. Please take a seat for speech-making, but praying and planning for a great year's work.
All take notice that Prof. Reid will not write any policies for New members until after the Grand Season, since new graded rates will change the maturity of the policy. Some of the Temples and Tabernacles are two or three quarters behind. They all must pay by July 1, 1919. Come to Waco to build and on the foundation our lamented C. G. M., Tabernacle.
I have received so many letters, asking where to send money. Send all Grand Dues and Endowment to the C. G. M., Prof. S. B.退, Marshall, Texas. Send reports for the Banner to the C. G. M. for the present. 3168 Thomas avenue, Dallas, Texas. All persons must make their quarterly report.

A COLLEGE that has its students devote one half their time to acclimatize to the environment in line with common sense that we have to be put in execution by an ex-slave as soon as possible in franchised race. Our great discoveries are the work for one thing and get another. I expect that we will be long, and often, when the great universities of the world will have their students in idea into execution in order to save them from being traumatized by the Colored Race.

That the city employ a Negro vitisician to the city hospital, its disposal indigent sick Negroes of the city, the office to be under the supervision of the body governing such an asset to the city and Health Department, they also endorse the idea of an asset to the city and Health Department. To all of the foregoing measures we have given consideration, investigation and much study, and if necessary, we have appointed a Negro Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical Society stand ready to confer with the Negro nurses and to measure measures can be amicably adjusted to the mutual satisfaction of all conceived. I have spent one perfect night on a mountainide. they were lovely enough, but this one was the pureest. We were in a cave. true. We made a good stiff run through the day. Late in the afternoon we left Santa Fe to climb the mountain. We climbed red hills, thick with cedar, broken by cliffs and mesas, and cut by the deep gorge of a little stream. We climbed another hill. at last we found the thing we sought. We rushed of the first church built. Foot Activation Suckers
Hooded or ungulate animals, such as sheep, pigs, camels and elephants, have given up using their fore limbs in a handiplier manner, and employ them in climbing. The most common tree climbing is out of their line. In Africa and Syaor act, however, certain representatives of the order known as rock rabbits, or hyrax, the name of which is used in the Bible as the coney (the old name of the rabbit). Certain African hyraxes have, however, taken to rock climbing. In each foot the sole is somewhat cup shaped, and by the aid of muscular action the center can be more elevated, so that when the foot acts as the bark of the foot acts as a sucker.
Getting into a Scrap
Rebels, men, golf and Scotland are挫将 to produce the expression of "getting into a scrape." In that part of Great Britain the game was first played. The rebels were in the habit of making little hobbies in which to rest. Whenever a ball stopped in one of the scraped out spots, the players had a real problem to solve. Finally, the golf societies amended the rules and permitted the players to take certain privileges after "getting into a scrape." From that time, with the difficulty decreased, the game
Invented Pneumatic Galsson
William SooJJ Smith, builder of the first all-stair bridge in the world and inventor of the pneumatic caisson, was born in Ohio June 21, 1850; graduated West Point in 1853; resigned from the army, but served during the Civil war, and later became eminent as a civil engineer and bridge builder. His bridge designs revolutionized deep-river bridge building and he was the first one to overcome quicksands in making foundation hews. He was also a pioneer in big building and in the construction of sky-arches. He was retired from the Army in 1916 and died January 12, 1912. Chicago-Tribune

RESPECTED HOME OF MORGAN
Federals and Confederates Both Refrained From Damaging House of Revolutionary Soldier.
The old stone house at Morgan's Grove stood unmolested during the Civil War, and the real soldiers held it in almost sacred reverence. Early's men and Shiridan's went past it on their raids in the 1860s. The army continued to stand as a noble monument to the memory of the great independence - Youth's Companion.
ORIGIN OF FAMOUS DISHES
Sally Lunn, Who Gave Her Name to Tea Bread, was a Real Person—Mulligatawney.
Sally Lunn was a pastry cook who at the end of 1800 used to sell the tea bread which bears her name in the Bible. Stray Stories (London) says.
Sandwich is called after the earl of Sandwich.
Mulligatawney is derived from an East Indian word meaning pepper water.
Macaroni originated from a Greek phrase meaning "the blessed dead," in allusion to the ancient custom of eating gooseberry. Gooseberry fool is a corruption of gooseberry "foul," meaning milled or pressed gooseberries, comes from the French "farger" which is stuffing, thus is forcement used for stuffing.
Blanc-mange means literally "white eatable." Mame, Deschamp, soa, was tarnished by a Mame, Deschamp, a Paris merchant woman who died about 1897, aged ninety-four. She saw the allies enter the Tao and supplied vegetation to the Tao and supplied reign of Charles X and Napoleon III.

Autocrat of the Air
The miler at Buckinghamshire one year found such difficulty in getting his salts to work through want of wind he had to carry out with his work. The delay annoyed the farmers, who decided to call a meeting to consider the admissibility of getting up another windmill. Unfilled, he and in the midst of the discussion room and said: "We want to get up another windmill do ye? Well, it takes all the windmill to make the mill again, so you'll have to fall elsewhere for yer wind, that's sarrin'" This novel argument gave matters the turn, and to this day the miler has no operation — San Francisco Argument.
Creating a Demand
At the theater a lady's hat obscured a man's view, and he leaned forward and respectfully asked if she would come. She was the only answer. After a few minutes he repeated his request. Then she turned to him. "There is no pressure for my doing so" she said. "No up on his back and placed on it and placed on his head, on it and put his hat on his head. In a moment there were shouts of "Take it off" "Take that hat off" and instantly the lady dressed out her head.

If I was you I would mad too. If I was you I would be sensitive to her looks as a tuffy teacher esculptify if she is a little oiled but this was not to go in the letter.
If you only understand what is in the letter, you misunderstand that misunderstand you would be sorry for them for it is not exactly their fault.
I know you feel worse about it than you do, but now a picklechure on does forever.
Teachers have a hard eruptime goodness knows without bein' shadoe how they look with a whole school to how they look with you. Sometimes if you do not care I will drowse you on the bored looken sweet and yung and put your name under so everybody will know it is and so from your tree friend and skooler.
THINK HIGHLY OF LANTERNS
Chinese Make them in Many Attractive Forms, and Pay Big Prices for them.
The shops of the lantern vendors in the Chinese cities are usually very gay and attractive. All varieties of lanterns are made of silken ones 3 and 4 feet high, gorgeously painted with variegated colors, embroidered in gold and silver or decoated with gold and silver material, and common small here and paper lanterns used by the coolers, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, to decorate the interior of very ingenious; the horns are cut into remarkably thin slices, which, by means of heat and pressure, are shaped with various shapes—round, square, hexagon, octagon and some shaped to resemble an hour glass for servants after sunset to carry before their masters large lantern made either of horn or highly variegated paper, with the name, title and dignities painted in large lettering.
At the Feast of Lenters, which takes place in the early part of the Chinese New Year, these lenten shops offer a variety of food and drink; it is customary for parents to make presents of lenters in their children, and for children to offer to superior, and venera.
Via Iceland.
The desire that centuries ago made men look to the North for closer connection between the eastern and western coasts, and by the shipment of Canadian grain from Port Nelson, in Hudson bay, to Rekvakian, Ireland, there to be stored in the Northwest. The ancient Icelandic capital, dating back to the coming of the Northmen in the ninth century, will be shipped to Rekvakian, international commerce. Hudson bay is unfrozen during about five months, and the grain, once stored at Rekvakian, is shipped to Europe, can be forwired as needed. The plan shortens the railway haul of grain moving from the Northwest to Europe and the grain ships crossing the bay will travel a twentieth century version of the new route for commerce which the old navigator, the sailor, seeks in the early seventyth.
Suction Plates on Bate
Certain bats appear to have found their booklike thumbs and bind feet insufficient for suspension and have made use of the suction principle for this pin pose. This model is independently developed in two distinct bats, a native of Brazil and the other of Madagascar. In the Brazilian species the suckers take the form of skulk dics attachs to the feet of the feet. The suckers of the Malagasy species are horseshoe like. By means of the suckers these bats are able to assemble vertical surfaces. Very curious it is to note the similarity of the feet of the cuttle-fishes, and these on the arm of the cuttle-fishes.
First Fake Beards
The Jews were responsible for the first false boards that were ever worm, so as known they did not wear them. The Egyptians to do so. The Egyptians had long gone with smooth faces, but when the Jews came to Egypt, they Nile quickly absorbed the idea that a bearded man was associated with strength, nobility of character and perhaps power. So the Egyptians wanted to hold a celebration in which certain people were to be enlisted, the objects of popular interest.

Thrilling Story of Western Life Told in "Riders of Vagrance" at Mammoth Theatre.
Harry Cormy has added another all-star to his right to be called. Ace of the Saddle
"Carly" has named another character, "Vengeance," has surpassed in intense interest and thrills any of the former successes which has won this work in the series. But mitigating the lurid sexualism of gun-play throughout the piece is the spirit of fair play the hero shows toward his bitterest enemies—the band of murderous cowpuncher hired by a spirit, cattleman, to exterminate the Carsten family.

Harry Carey, in the part of Cheyenne, Harry Carleton, whose entire family was assassinated on the steps of the little western church a moment after he had emerged with his new bride on his arm, has scored another success in portraying the life in the West just at the close of the Civil War. Lawlessness, so called, as applied to the law of the Civil War, is an inexorable, inexorable law, in exorable law, that was dealt both in justice and injustice, the law of the six-schooter and the Winchester.
Seena Owen is the girl who comes to marry the sheriff. Other members of the supporting cast are Joseph Harris, J. Farrell McDonald, Alfred Allen, Jennie Lee and China Gale.

THE COMING OF THE LAW
WILLIAM TUX PRODUCTION
TOM MIX MORE THAN SATISFIES
"The Coming of the Law" Fimestre of Work He Has Done for Screen.
The Tramuel of the Mammoth Theatre did not exaggerate when he announced that he had another splendid Tom Mix picture opening at his theatre yesterday. The play, a William Fox production, called "The Coming of the Law," and taken from Charles Aden Bottom, has been adapted to this picture he has done. And when one recalls his previous William Fox photos, it will be realized that this is saying a good deal.
The new picture is a full-brown western story of the day before the war, and it is a great picture of that section. Dry Bottom, New Mexico, is a town typical of the wild and wooly days. Big Bill Dulavey, leader of the rustling gang, is ruler until the war, and he is a two-mum man, but in a lovely two-fold chan, and he accomplishes more in a couple of months with his strong right arm than all the guns could accomplish in that out-of-the-way town. He helps from Judge Graney and from Nellie Hazelton, a pretty cowgirl.
Mix does some remarkable stunts in the picture--real hair-raisers.
A play which shows Tom Mix, the dare-devil of the screen, at his best.
A motion picture with a star who has defied a hundred times to put thrills upon the screen. He is a two-mum, who fights, and fights hard, for justice and decency in the Wild West.
The story of a tenderfoot who made rumors but in which two brawny fists win.
The tale of a man who beat a gang of out laws and won a sweetheart.
The story of what a newspaper could do among lawless men in the Wild West. It recounts a level head win against bandit blaster. In which romance ripens and order is established where violence and ruthenian had ruled.
