Proves From His Inventory of America is Bad That Indians Got Mass From Ancient African America Before Columbus Boston, Mara, Sept. 18.—Stranger than fiction and more startling than history, the proverbs of the public are the declarations of Professor Leo Weiner of Harvard, who infused the civilization of the American continent before the advent of Columbus, who has been profiled by historians as its discoverer. Weiner is given to the public by Myles E. Connolly. "The rud to true brotherhood is not through a belief of God, the mainstay and corner stone of our war, but through a powerful address delivered at the heart of her teaching. She is turning to her teachings. She is turning to these things in this earth in fully understanding - our father of our course as building machines of war. THE DALLAS EXPRESS, DALLAS, TEXAS, SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 1920. LET'S BEGIN ASKING ABOUT OUR HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING. In the spring of this year the Negro property owners of Dallas were asked to vote a bond issue for general city and school improvement. Promises were made that in the event of the passage of the school bond issue, a High School building would be erected for Negroes. The bonds were voted. Salaries of teachers were raised. Plans were formulated for the erection of new white school buildings but as yet no mention has been made of a new Colored high school. We feel that unless the Negroes of Dallas bestir themselves and begin to ask why such plans are not being made and urge that they be made immediately, as in former years, the money from the sale of this bond issue will be expected and we will still be lacking. No one who has seen the scant space and lack of facilities of the high school building now being used, can doubt that we need one. It is only right and proper that our children receive some substantial benefit from our increased taxes. It is also right and proper that the board of Education would hear respectfully any proposition brought forward in regard to a new high school building. This is not a time for hesitancy or bickering. We need to begin NOW to urge and organize a movement for getting this much needed school building. The size of our owners' owners roll, the number of our children now in high school and the almost wrested conditions under which they are now receiving their high school training are argument enough that we need it. Let's begin now to push it. We need a whole city block with a well equipped modern building, fitted up with all of the modern conveniences and equipment necessary to their successful training. Let us ask for it and urge its erection beginning NOW. MEN IN NEW YORK BURN BANK BONDS WORTH $200, 000 IN EFFORT TO ESCAPE ARREST AS THEVES. Mr.Starkey had a large number of stolen postage stamps in his pocket and was questioned by the United States Attorney W. The meeting and organization of the annual meeting of the hard Life Insurance Company, in Carnegie Hall, Wiley University, in Carnegie Hall, Pittsburgh, of September was possibly one of the most unique and far-reaching in the history of our people in that city. The meeting met on purely a business mission, and to promote the business of the firm. In this meeting these sixteen men needed to write and pay for two hundred dollars from June 30, to December 31, 1920, a million of that already been paid. This meeting was called by State Director of agencies, L. H. Williams, of the city, among our people in this country. Mr. W. H. King, National director of the Company, addressed the meeting. Mr. King bears the proud distinction of being the lives of Colored people than any other living man. The following officers were elected: B. H. YACOCK, Rockdale. L. E. THOMPSON, Marshall. L. E.
