NATIONALLY KNOWN EDUCATORS ATTEND NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COLORED TEACHERS HERE Never before has Dallas been host to as large a delegation of educators of other states as are here this week in attendance at the twenty-fourth Association of Teachers in Colored Schools. Beginning on Tuesday upon presentation of the side of Texas cane until on Wednesday there were more than a few students in afternoon in the auditorium of the Washington High School and the president of the Teacher's Association of the City of Dallas. The speakers of the afternoon were G. T. Bloody, worthwhile and the president of the Council of Fort Worth; M. O. P. Pardon, worthwhile and the president of Education of the City of Fort Worth and Dr. J. H. Dillard, supervisor of the Jeanne-Susan Funds. Length of the progress in education that had been made during the past year would be worthful for the real communities of Texas and the rural districts as there were in them. Mrs. Kupkendall and Mrs. Carlson spoke of the opportunities that the formation and maintenance of Jeanne-Susan funds meant to the progress of Negro schools now are that more interest be taken in this work by the teacher and the order that the necessity for those organizations be felt by the parachute teachers in which the teachers worked. Mr. Carlson at the same time paid a high tribute to the work of Prof. Morse, the supervisor of the Negro schools of Fort Worth. Aidian Supervisor Bloodworth: "There are twelve Jeannes teachers in Texas and all of them are doing good work in the creation of love, sympathy, and sympathy. There are fourteen teachers in Texas teaching the young people the elementary principles of Texas education as well as the regular school curriculum. Opening Program Highly Pleasing Those who are familiar with the announcement declare that the one rendered in the auditorium of St. James A. M. E. Temple on Wednesday night and highly satisfactory. The address of welcome had the effect of delivery and a uniqueness of composition that rendered them easy to hear by those to whom they were addressed. The banners have never been equated in the history of programs in Dallas and have never been equated in the degree of their enjoyment in no uncertain term. Mayor Blaklock was not present at the City Attorney. But their absence was made up for amply on behalf of the El Paso and on behalf of the citizens of Dallas by the College of Law. W. He was unique for the array of satirics on the State of Texas and the City of Texas of facts he declared that it was his purpose to see to it that no visitor to the State for the first time would know of the good things that the State afforded and of its contribution to the welfare of the nation. That's what happens to the sales manager of the Dallas Express Circulation Camp. You're not supposed to that you can't tear him. And you may ask him as many questions as you like and he will answer them as fast as he can talk. Some people might become pearced if questions were hurled at them at the rate of a rapid fire gun, but the sales manager of the Dallas Express Campaign reels in it. You're not supposed to the Salesman Department a young woman, who wanted to be a member of the Salesmanship Club to obtain valuable prizes to be awarded September 15th. She wanted to find out all about it, and if medals were given to question proposers, she would be given to them. It was early in the forecorn. She came to the point right away, and met me in on that race and tell me all about it. "Yes, indeed," replied the sales manager. "You see," I can win that Nash Sedan "she interrupted. You most certainly can; that is provided you work at the number of credits." "And does it make any difference where I live?" No difference whatever, just so you reside in Dallas trade territory. "Well then, tell me what I must do to win," she said, as she moved her chair a notch lower. "That's easy; all you have to do is to see your friends and acquaintances and get to prepay their subscriptions through; that is already subscribers of The Dallas Express induce them to become a subscriber by paying a subscription rate." But how about the credits? It takes credits to win, does it not she? She said, "Yes, that is allowed for each prepaid subscription to The Dallas Express." credits do I get for subscriptions?" she eagerly inquired. That depends entirely upon the length of time the subscription is paid, from one to five months. The campaign is divided into three periods and at the end of each period there is a sharp cut in the twelve big prizes in all. "Oh yes; you can take the subscriptions only, you can sit at any other club member, no matter where they reside!" Then if I live out of town I have an exchange with the others to win the Nash Exactly. "If you don't win any of the prizes, you have my efforts all in vain!" "Absolutely not. If you remain active throughout the campaign and make a regular appointment, you will be paid a commission of 20 per cent or $10 of every $5 you have collected." Then I can lose, and her face lightened up. "Well, that's fair enough and I will receive something for my work anyway. I guess I have any help," she said. "Can I have anyone help me?" That is right, go ahead. That is what we want you to do right from the start. "Can I have any help?" she said. "Can I have any help?" Certainly, a very good plan. Get all friends to help you. "Well, she said, 'gues' we'll start out," and she signed the entry blank. "Give me a couple of times a family voice." I told you I'd start out for a year and I'm going after another now that is promised. See you later." Kansas City. Kansas. The picnic given the St. Louis was highly anticipated. "Do I get any credits for old subscriptions?" "Yes indeed; you get the regular number of credits." "And continued the sales manager, there are hundreds of people who would be aired for a year in advance if they aked." By this time other interesting campaigners had come in and were getting breath and the resumed. "Do all subscriptions sent through the post-office count at the rate of those marked Dallas County, and adjoining counties?" "How many prizes will be given away?" she continued, getting back to the big issue. "Wellev big prizes in all." "Offer all subscriptions anywhere you please, as can other club member, no matter where they residue." Then if I live out of town I have an equivalence with the others to win the Nash Sedan. "Exactly." "Do you suppose I don't win any of the prizes, have my efforts been all in vain?" "Absolutely not. If you remain active throughout the campaign and make a regular call to your supporters, you will be paid a commission of 20 per cent or $1 out of every $5 you have collected." "Then I can lose, and I won't." "Well, that's nice, and I will receive an email for encouragement, I give you think I am asking a lot of questions, and I want to understand everything," that is right, so ahead that is what we want to know.
