AFRICAN METHODIST CONFERENCE.
All the presidents passed without a black mark, and Dr. E.W. Johnson, the president of the Plover From Whom All His blessings Plover. We are making programs, and Blipchip Johnson, "there is no question that I and I rejoice that the audience can be filled with the novel. The novel standard, the intellectual standard, in fact we are getting a better class of men who are ready to learn and ready are improving. We believe in programs, the bats, long tail contours and white ties no longer make a minister. That class of men who are ready are getting their ears and go like a dying cow. They are presented by some and show by others, but now you must know them, with the hope of fun and your joy of life and God will open your mouth, and out of it must come a where, a trained minister, and the man who is too lazy to read. I have requests for the record of some of the men who do not measure up, and is hard to
"This is an age of thinkers, and if thinkers are in poor thinking, they must cooperate with all men. Better conditions, cooperate in the terms of brotherhood. The men who wipe out an enemy must wipe out all crime and criminality. We must condemn every offender of the law, care not what his race, color or previous condition, should be, to protect him. We must be brave. It should be just as easy to wipe out a prisoner out of his cell, as it is to be on hell and a prisoner out when a confined by his size. For this kind of law, white brothers, for they make the law, continue law, execute law, and from them there comes no escape. We was created friday morning with impressive and master service conducted by Reva A. H. Holloway, W. Billiam and J. R. Jenkins, and read the journal and he was commended the efficient trainer in which he was tested and the conference. Dr. Summers

Dr. Jenkinka was loud in his praises of the work accomplished by Bishop Johnson, and declared that he was an inspiration to the youth of his race throughout the country. "The work of helping the negroes in the South," he said, "and the man who tries to do right will often make enemies. For four years Bishop Johnson has lead us. He was born conservative, preaching the doctrine of friendly relation between the black and white, and to do general conference last May and asked for his return. He is mak-

The astronomers have been saying that there are spots on the sun, but they are not confirming to confirm or deny the allegation but less gone on sending its rays into the sky. We are exactly what our bishop is doing. We are proud of him, for he is making friends for us among our neighbors. He is a man, and then he is accompanied by his wife who is
In answer to the question, "Where shall our next conference be held?" there was a lively concurence. Denton, Denton, and Denton was selected.
