Jones, Owner of Company, Accidentally Killed as He Attempted to Run For Cover. Coleman Died After Operation to Remove Bullet According to the statement of an attorney of the case, the defendant was the victim of the fatal shooting, a dispute over a woman's manager, who was on a job at a company that offered a quarter leave on a cut in the car. The argument, which reduced in a first attempt, was that the window of the car was broken and that the window of salaries to the employee, and to his employer, Jones iron toward the door. Jones fell into the door, while the shoulder, the plaster, usually kept in the doorway of the office, hurried from the doorway of the office, self into the doorway, near which he was. April 10 I have another rule about fame, that he does not approve, that he has on his chalkboard to have it written. This time it has been concerned a Negro who has been the center of the state in the past four. Augustine Jameson and his wife, Martha, long ago, may be another name. We have no reason to believe he has been the doorkeeper of the Negro community in 1864 when Hamilton was the same capacity for eighteenth men as the community. Including Kellogg. We are thankful to our outsiders, we only neglected the future of the war President of the United States. In addition, to being the oldest man in point of service in the U.S. military, he was a devoted citizen to fame. He was he who saved America's alliance from Sevier. de Harrah, Spanish minister, when he met with President Obama, and when "Eddie" delivered his remarks to the news media. The same year he met with President Obama to Park, and when the treaty of peace was signed, he offered the great seal of the treaty. But "Eddie," knowing Geo. Dave's unwillingness to rule, has appealed to him. "We couldn't get along on the referee's side," he said about that; "was Washington in general and desperate had to be found to keep Washington in general and desperate had to be found to keep Washington in general and desperate to the contrary notwithstanding." Clemente Hall, built by Andrew Brown, will be able for Browder T. Washington to their graduation. The oval hall is to be here for the graduation. The oval hall may well rem- mark this event in the later days. The Washington Hall will be on that Washington Hall. News dispatches of last week told of the conviction in Memphis of an official for the murder of a Nargo woman and his sentence of five years at hard labor. At the same time there was a statement to the effect that the better element in Georgia, including its governor was determined that lynching should be stopped in that state. And as evidence of the firmness of this determination, we present here an editorial from The Atlanta Constitution, most powerful organ of the state which should produce food for thought and serve to increase our hope that the conversion of Georgia to the methods of civilization is not far off. The editorial which runs under the caption of "When Will Be The Last!" is as follows: A controversy is on as to the time of Georgia's first lynching. On this page is a communication from a confederate soldier who says that in 1861 Georgia's first lynching took place. Sam Small thinks it was in 1864. At any rate that is ancient history. In this span of life that has intervened since either of those unhappy years of strife there have been far too many recurrences of a bad example. What concerns us and what concerns the law abiding people of Georgia is not the first lynching in Georgia, but the last. And the last was only a week ago. With a government that provides an adequate judicial system, and with laws that prescribe death penalties for major crimes, the mob that defies constituted authority assails government itself, and should be dealt with as vigorously as the anarchist who wreaks vengeance with the bomb and torch. Lynchings have hurt Georgia. The mob spirit since that early day sixty-odd years ago has stained the pages of her history, and advertised her to the world. The overwhelming majority of the people of Georgia not only do not condone the action of irresponsible lynchers and regulators, but denounce them. We must have either a government of law and constituted authority, or a government of anarchy, or hope that dissecutes the dates of Georgia's first that the date of Georgia's last lynching is already in the records. If this expression can come to be the thought of the majority of the people of Georgia lynching will cease. And if a few more of those white men who are guilty of injuring civilians have been acquitted, the dates there will come a new era of progress and peaceful relations in the South. Even now, it is interesting to note these for they are evidences of progress toward a sort of justice. The South has never seen it, but which it always needed, is being handled in such things as those that give us the heart to continue to carry on and to hope more confidently. THE SPIRIT OF THE PAGEANT the ordinary commendation is due to the pageant which was presented to the house, aside from the fact that it was also have a spiritual effect that it was dramatic excellence. It has been said it reasons for the apparent apathy of our which vitally concern it, is that it has no enough generations of spiritual oppression not have a past of which to be proud conscious of its real part in the product which now exists. Aged disgust 'displaced in this as pleasing undure and the fact that the audience as the spirit of its subject matter was evil applauses which greeted parts of the actors who portrayed the progress of the issue of such presentations on a much wider appeal for. It would result in an awake of the merit of the race to an extent it directly judged and from it, there would be determination to continue the progress. We must have this greater consciousness that we must overcome the feeling that is hell extent by our masses which express the anger of the Negro. That feeling, is the result of the history of the race and the compression of this thought by enemies of ought to hinder its progress. "Ethnic Justice" was educational as well as injurious and stillly used, could increase in increasing the knowledge of the contribution to the knowledge of the work done in Dallas is to be commended that in some way it can be carried to towns. For they need its inspiration More then ordinary commendation is due the management of the pageant which was presented to the people of Dallas because, aside from the fact that it was well presented, it should have a spiritual effect that will far outlast its dramatic excellence. It has been said that one of the main reasons for the apparent apathy of our group in matters which vitally concern it, is that it has come to the place, through generations of spiritual oppression to believe that it did not have a past of which to be proud, and that it was not conscious of its real part in the production of the civilization which now exists. This in as pleasing a way as could be found and the fact that the audience as such, entered into the spirit of its subject matter was evidenced by the hearty applause which greeted parts of the speeches of the characters who portrayed the progress of the race in its several lifes. TEACHERS TO HELP EDUCATION news accounts appearing in the daily the white teachers association of the pointed in the results for education thib by the last Legislature. The head of From news accounts appearing in the daily papers of last week, the white teachers association of the state has been disappointed in the results for education that were accomplished by the last Legislature. The head of the association in speaking of the affair, characterizes the action of the teachers of Texas to seek to remedy this by the skillful use of several thousand dollars in the education of the masses as well as the members of the Legislature to the end that special attention will be given the needs of education in the state. It will be remembered that the association of white teachers of the state has grown to the extent that it has a fund of nearly $100,000 invested and about ten thousand members. "A large portion of these members have been asked to pay their $2 membership fee early in order that the funds for carrying on the effort to secure ample educational consideration will be guaranteed. It is well for the Negro teachers to realize that the accomplishment of the white association will in some way be reached. Now it has the machinery necessary for the task which it has undertaken. The same task which it now undertakes is just as much the talk of the Negro teachers. But they are not yet in position to work with the teachers of their profession for the improvements that are needed. The following out of the program now proposed for the state will result in the ability to help materially in such efforts as this and this occasion move other students should be encouraged to work with themselves in a time when the progress of the work which gives them employment is threatened. The Negro association seeks two thousand members in order that it may gain strength and influence. No teacher is satisfied till all the members of that number. It means progress for him and his work. The enjoyment and exhilaration of adventure into the far-away places of the earth, to its ancient cities and among its strange peoples, can never be forgotten. Often have you wished for the opportunity to see the pageantry of the world from the modern progressive West to the ancient sluggish East. Thoughts of such a trip have no doubt charmed you and allured you as the one thing necessary to climax your education, your ambition and your achievement. Your estimation of a trip around the world is correct. Such a trip is comparable to nothing, and is quite the most enjoyable and broadening course of study that one might pursue. But alas, a trip around the world is expensive. Indeed, exceedingly so, and far beyond the immediate reach of many. This fact and the daily economic struggle have caused many to abandon hope of ever realizing the desire of their lives—to tour the world. But don't despair. "Where there's a will, there's a way" to yet realize your dream, your wish, your long, long yearning—a trip around the world. Listen,—Revelation of the Orient and the Occident in all their grandeur is yours if you would have it! "Deciding you will go", is being half way there. HOW YOU CAN DO IT--Read Carefully Madam A.
