The case was heard in Still His Castle. If that were in that case, how much more would the inmates have been not only the home in danger of invasion, but the inmates were probably dead. Had the occupants the racial identity of the parties reason to feel that there would have been no case at all. But the case was as it was, and there is through its connections all over the country to see the services of the inmates and deliberately is unmasking and showing to the world that the democracy of America is only surviving. That case will establish the fact that Norwegian do, or do not do, law, to protect themselves, as do others, and unmasking the widespread efforts of prejudiced groups to limit our rights to obtain jobs and oceans. And these things are fundamental. They are the first steps toward civilization to the life of our common country, and lend every effort toward helping such efforts to succeed. We have placed a blindness in our society, and damn it in turn to come. MORE ABOUT THE FULLMAN PORTERS According to all reports, the fight between the organizers of the Pullman Porters and those who are attempting to see to it that they do not form an organization, is the result of a long-standing possession of certain information as to the actual condition which they face has been worsened in a battle. Of wife with Randolph who is attempting to organize them. By standard say that Howard is in the pay of the Pullman Porters, and that he is not an Indian or Indian Indians. Eddyly, both are well into the contest, which is causing more than an ordinary amount of interest. The Excelsior stalk several weeks ago that the porters had a case, should be afraid, before some court whether that of public opinion or some other court刺 to those which all of the troubles of other organized bodies have for the thrashing out of their difficulties, and it is of the opinion now that more has been heard of the organization. Organization is a thing which always pays if it is predicated upon the demand for concerted action. And evidently, it is a thing to the Pullman Company has become accustomed in all of the years that the conduct of the porters has been made to be much an unthinkable thing for the porters suppose. NEGROES, THE G. O. P. AND SOUTHERN EDITORS There is every reason to feel that the "solid South" has ceased to pride itself on solid Democracy and is now attempting to see to it that there is enough support given a second party to help in the caption of the evil president. The second party, the National Democratic party has led to abuse in civil life that even the most radical southerner is becoming tired of and is finding extremely distasteful and he seeks relief in advice in the strengthening of a second party to oppose the Democrat. It is an extra effort he would turn to the Republican party as an alternative to the Democratic party to his liking in all but one particular. It seems to pander too much to the Negro and, in the language of several of the leading journals of the South which have taken pains in the past few weeks to discuss the situation, it becomes a white power, it must become a "white power" party also. These papers are leaders of the South in opinion forming and they include the Atlantic Independent, the Richmond Times Dipatch, the Virginian Pilot, the Roosevelt Fires and the Pittsburgh Pilot. All of these are members of the party in the South it does to allow Negroes to dominate it as in times past. Says the Hiramghon Post "the Republican party is ever to make any progress at all in the South, its leaders must decide, whether it is South, attracting men by making it a white man's party or 2. They wish to continue the present policy of placing Negro politicians in control in the South largely for the effect this action will have on Northern and Eastern Negro voters and Negro delegates in The National Convention party in the South it in present little more than a joke. Evidently, the leaders of the party, have heartened to a certain extent to the ailen voices of these Bourbon traitors, for those have signified their agreement in many wars with the French. They have withdrawn their votes for the past six years. They have seated Lily whites in conventions in preference to benamee-Republicans they have appointed these same Lily whites to responsible positions in the government where they have been appointed. They have program of segregation and discrimination. And there is red umber that they will listen further to these voices and attempt to make further gains in the South by going further in their attempts to make it real", a white man's answer. What will the Negro do? That question looms with more than the ordinary amount of importance at this time when the leaders of the race in all parts of the country are agree that the race has "no" Friend at court". Will the "Brother" be content to continue his vladimirian program of segregation while he stands ready by in the possession of his right to vote, or will he realize that in his numbers, especially in the South where his hold on Republicanism has always been strongest, he has a mighty weapon for the combat. Again the answer is "Nothing." You have never been allowed to join the unions of importance and, therefore, you can know very little. You do know that unions have displaced you wherever they could and have exploited wherever there was a chance. You know these things and you know them well. You also know that you have always been retained in your jobs when your service was honest and capable, not withstanding the protest of the unions. Pay no attention to plea of the agitators. ATLANTA BENDS TO MOREHOUSE [A, N, P] Knowledge is power. You know the great financial kings of this country and they know you. They believe in you and you have believed in them. There is where the power of knowledge comes in. Use your knowledge of your employer's designs and you will become powerful. Your employers do not approve of Red Russia and Socialistic labor agitators, because both have stirred up strife, caused bloodshed and created dissension and poverty. Your employers want peace, happiness and plenty for the whole nation, and this includes you. You know it and the power to realize it is in your own hand. Go about your work in a cheerful spirit and a trusting heart and your problems will be adjusted. It takes time. It took centuries to Establish Christianity.
