Made possible by the assistance of the press office of the National Regio Press Association. When George R. Taylor died last week in Florida, his death was choreographed far and wide for he enjoyed the distinction of being the only Negro in the history of this country to aspire to the presidency. He was treated as a journalist and he entered politics at an early age. Moving to Virginia, he continued his political activities with the result that in 1904 he was nominated on the ticket of the National Liberty Party as a candidate. The ticket of the National Liberty was of course defeated but the records show that the ticket was supported by many foreigners. What will history of the future tell of those of us who now see clearly that we have followed not only the past but also the present over a time in which members of the race will realise their destiny in a political way, riding in the strength of their balloons and which now hold them in shock. We wonder, and in that wonder man as Taylor lived. His claim toreatments because he ran for the presidency but there is much to be said for the ruler who he showed. (The claim that G. O. P. But, Judging by the world's reckoning in every day and coupling this with the community hard sign of so many things, we could conclude that there has been too much inherent hostility without anything to be done.
