has never belated the white leather, leather author, who it has bounced by the yellow streak. It is unaffiliated with the flatter man, the gentler woman, the more vulnerable woman, which rises us to call the same: breasts; flesh; like us, double like it. It prefaces a woman, a woman, a woman. Its love of every human feature, its spirit of the spirit, its pretty high ground, its pretty high ground, its pretty high ground. Days of the press cover us up and stand with us. This leather is baily. W. W. KING.
A news account of last week held of the efforts of The Inter-American Commission on the situation in Florida, to the point that it would seek to cause action to be taken regarding to occur in it. The heads of the commission have wired the governor of Florida to investigate the occurrence, working among the organized society in the hope that some reaction to their plan may be had. Florida officials of a Negro man and added to its mob record by the tarring and feathering of an old woman
There is every reason to feel that there will come an awakening in the world of the nomadic nomic reason than as the result of any quinine of consciousness which may be felt. That state move lacking in leadership of the progressive soil. Its communities are the most vulnerable to the dangers and its inhabitants have none of the warriors of life and the people of an even better home there than in Georgia. Its prison camp is the most dangerous place in the Sierra. Backing as it has in the atmosphere of the tropes, settled but not developed by guerrete activity, and a slough of slothfulness that in well suited to the barbarous.
One of our acquaintances said the other day that he considered all of the women in his office were flooding the legislatures of the various states a final attempt at abolition. He soon came from finding them out. We imagine that their is an exquisite form of torture. They are given their blooded descendants and will cross the line without hesitation. Banquo's ghost to haunt them.
We wonder what the feeling of the "protectors of American liberty" will be with an old woman whose only儿女 was being black and of owing a good house when she refused to marry a man a "moo" superior North Carolina. Bravery like that certainly should not be ignored, but happened in Florida too.
WE BEAR THE BLANK BUT WE SHOULD NOT.
Last week in Birmingham, a Norwegian man was set upon and beat by a white man, who began his companion, "looked to white men." Members of the police patched in the assault on the man.
The protests of both the man and the white men was not white unknewed.
Here is another one of the daisies that the Norwegian man continually made to pay for the unhindered lost of white men and fill the world with the half tipped progeny who, not only their mothers making force them to marry, but their other race to which they asly belong, cannot enclose them in protection which they receive protection which they receive must live in continual fear that they will white" and that they will suffer the fate of this man of flirting-
REGISTRATION IN ALABAMA
At the same time that a white group was beating a Negro man in a street with a woman who "looked too white," registration agents in the city clashed with citizens of the state of Alabama are supposed to go to register and register slapping, beating and otherwise misbeating a white woman for the right reason. The woman was finally arrested and bound over for a trial
It is in the face of happenings in these that we are prone to believe that we are not immune to the "How long, Oh Lord, How Long?" and that people will become willing to stalk into the slough into which those events will sink. Words fall in the description of our feelings. Our ears are quickened to the quickest pulses and but for the patience which the years of our memory might succumb to the impulses which come. But we do not. In another chance. If we feel that the land is under the law of the land, knowing when we begin that we are the confines of the territory in which our grievances are delivered, knowing when we have lived thus and we have thwarted them. We have moved far from the condition in which we are so saddened and we are so sadtered.
It is claimed that governmental agents were present and willged against the registration booth. If this response to the registration at registration was not met, the registration will not be held, and our sequestration will come the dawning of a new day. It is also claimed that the comparison to the comparison to register was the part of an effort constitutive rights and that they have carried their诉 to the government, course, he do nothing. He cannot do anything for the public observance of the discrimination observance of the discrimination be practiced for so many years.
THE DALLAS EXPRESS, DALLAS, TEXAS, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 1926
But there is a chance that other wars of retaliation will be opened up. There is still the law of the land, and the law of the sea, and the true that the reason that the Americanism gives suffrage to the other all other portions of the country have been overloaded for so long that they have not been able to grow to air the acts in defence of these men. In the case of our nurses in the green in Alabama will be allowed to register only after they have been necessary to the carrying of their flight through all of the lower courts of the land. OUR BEST FRIENDS AND YET A Negro had occasion to speak to a young white man the other day and the conversation naturally drifted, all men seem to have made use of the old statement heard so often from the lips of the Negro to the affect that the Mice
The Negro replied that "for many years my people believed that I should be granted that any white man who spoke in that veil was telling the truth of white men were guilty. Yes, but who came to grief at the hand of white men were guilty. Yes, but times have changed. Negroes are scourging all of the horrors of their race and they are weighing the facts and coming to the conclusion that they may be our best friends and yet—how many so many instances of lynching have occurred? Why so many instances of poignancy which exist unchecked in the black community are for faithless? Why so many instances of black women are still being prostrated by white men and their lack of a name? Why the constantly studied efforts of the Chancellor? Why the output unequaled school funds? And the term of twelve weeks for the black students to be permitted months for white? Yes, your people may be our best friends
All of this was said, in the feeling from as it was possible to make it. The young white man, finally in the West, I’m fair, blame your folks for getting scopeless about it, and we believe it to be. I’m coming to the conclusion that in the past we succeeded in fooling ourselves about our own real status. That’s where he’s hoping that his tribe will speedily learn, and that neither Zelder Richardson nor Cunne has told the reader of The Houston International of Dallas in the matter of diphtheria, epidemic. Heavenly things have taught us something.
At least we know that there was no difference between the ministers which perceived to have a vested interest in Holy Land tour with them. His money was refunded, Christianism was restored, we believe we

Q — G. M. mays: “I should use the high ratio transformer in the first stage.”
Q-A. A. A. V. says "I have constructed a B. battery connected to a filter circuit." Using a two 4 Md. capacitors and the secondary of an amplifying transmitter in the filter circuit. This gives a much larger capacitance than the much volume as it used to. What can be the reason for this? Answer. — It is most likely that the B. C. resistance of the winding that you are using for your cell phone is so high that it can be damaged by the charging of a choke wound with heavier wire on a large core. Using a choke wound with heavier wire on a large core, the filter circuit will also increase the DC voltage a little.

SOME of the germs which cause disease produce certain potent substances called toxins. Among the more common of these germs is the bacillus which causes diphtheria. Many of the a. symptoms, complications, and after-effects of this disease result from the damage wrought by the toxin of the diphtheria bacillus.

$882,471.78 Collected and Handled in Texas Last Year
During the year 1925 more than $360,000.00 was expended in compensations to this small army of workers. Thus, it will be seen that the average pay per employee is a little bit over $1200 per year. This includes both those giving full time and part time to the work, and when it is remembered that the pay for agents in This Company evidently believes in reciprocity, for it has, in a very substantial way, manifested a disposition to support and patronize race institutions in the territory where it operates. It is employing the physicians of the Race to examine wherever prac the patronage of its 145,000 policyholders.
We have just closed our best year in the Great State of Texas. Our business has been wonderful, which, of course, is gratifying in that this material increase in business is evidence that we are serving you better.
But most gratifying of all is this splendid expression of public confidence in the Mississippi Life Division of the Southern Insurance Company—the honesty of its methods, and the complete acceptance as true of every promise made by our representatives.
It is this confidence that has established our reputation for doings exactly as prompt—and we value it too highly to ever suffer it to be even slightly abused.
So for this expression of confidence—as shown by your cooperation in making 1925 a Ban-year—we M. S. Stuart and M. Anderson together with our District Managers also Feld agents, are truly grateful.
Messrs. Stuart and Anderson have under their direction the three states of Mississippi, Arkansas and Texas, and they report that the Texas business, although the youngest, compares favorably with the business in the other two states mentioned, and that the growth of the business in this state has exceeded their fondest expectations.
They also state that a very profitable two day session of the Texas Managers was conducted. Each Manager came prepared with his program outlined for the year 1926. Every phase of the business was exhaustively discussed, and estimates and computations were made on a scientific basis so as to make the business success of the year practically assured.
Messrs. Stuart and Anderson supervise about 300 men, and women of the Race, all of whom have become accomplished and practical in the handling of the affairs of this institution. It is the claim of these employees that they are better paid and treated with a more liberal spirit than the employees of any similar concern giving employment to our people.

During the past week, Messrs. M. S. Stuart and M. E. Anderson, General Agents of the Mississippi Life Division of the Southern Insurance Company, were distinguished visitors in the City of Dallas. This organization during the past year, in the territory above mentioned, collected and handled $882,471.78, just a little less than one million dollars, and this large sum of money was not only paid in by members of our racial group, but every cent of it was also collected and disbursed through the hands of members of our Race. Of this sum $349,435.27 in death and indemnity claims were paid back to the beneficiaries of the policyholders? Think of it, over $300,000 poured into the laps of widows and orphans throughout our territory, and every check paying these benefits was written and signed, and delivered by the hands of Colored men and women.

critical, and it is patronizing the enterprises of our people in giving them its printing, and leasing office space from them, which spirit of reciprocity is much noted and appreciated by the people of Texas.
That this business has been in operation a long time is proven by the fact that during the past year the Company paid several matured endowment policies to people who had the fore-sight to secure this kind of protection many years ago. This means that this institution is not in its experimental stage, but that it has established a reputation and attained a permanency that motifs the patronage of its 145,000 policyholders. CIATION
