I. - Dardenham, a New York Jew with the father of four, was a friend of the man he was a mike and linen dealer, was refused service in the Famous Restaurant, at 265 Market street, this city, dating from 1880. SITUATION IN TEXAS Of lesser importance as far as the general public was concerned, but just as interesting to those directly concerned was the contest between the Creaggr faction of the G. O. P. in Texas and the forces of Wurzbach in the first Texas G. O. P. primary in the history of the state. Reports show that in the majority of instances the forces of Wurzbach were de the whole state and the most numerous without a doubt, were the same. The power of making the definite and large contribution to the capital success of Prairie View. On that score, the people of Texas are satisfied. But there is a well defined doubt in the mind of the general public as to the opportunity which President Banks hoped to build up a white man's will have to do the job thoroughly and the freedom of expression in the matter of the government of the school which will be his. It is a well-known fact that much of the inefficiency of that school in times past has been due to the lack of freedom which was had by those upon whom the response was not reached. They had little authority for such a result. The National Federation has now been to be limited in their chance to actually manage the school. The Express hopes that the deliberation with which the choice of principal was made and the care which was exercised in his selection is an argument for the belief that he will actually have unlimited opportunity to improve the status of the school. to come, constitute the majority of the South, be the G. Radio Topics The Road To Better Health The most hectic of all of the political campaigns of Texas for many years has just closed and Fergusonism has been repudiated by an overwhelming majority. Texas, in thus making her choice has done another of the spectacular things by choosing the youngest governor ever elected in all of her history. At the same time that she showed her extreme disasters for demagogery, not for her first woman woman governor. In the opinion of The Express, had the "privy counsellor" of Mrs. Ferguson been any other person than "Farmer Jim" with his reputation for political chicernery and had there not been, as aggressive an Attorney General as Dan Moody, the boon of a second term might have been accorded the first woman governor of the Lost State. But the government of Texas later this administration has been less efficient than was to have been expected and the voice of the people spoke in no uncertain terms. But of even greater impovery than the repudiation of Fergusonism is the idea which has found lodgement in the minds of some to the effect that the Plan as such backed the majority of the successful candidates for the office of the state, and that it is an ongoing "comeback" in the case of the Party. Chase (For The Associated Negro Press) Lin Bonner, in an article in the Liberty (Issue of the 1967) is a letter from a group of New York City, who, in account of Paul's trip to the pole, paying a glowing tribute to Matthew A. Henson, who has terms Peary's Negro Lelibentant. In this article, he found for the first time certain features connected with the journey that have been a script for the post seventeen years.
