The representative from Dalias who extended the invitation to the National Negro Business League to hold its next meeting here reports that two of the members of the executive committee during a discussion indicated that they had been marked much about the "accompodations," the ability of the people to entertain the league in the manner necessary etc. The Express desires first to remark that all Negroes like "the colonies lady and Julia O'Grady" are brothers by blood and origin, many of them of the Negroes of Mississippi and from the weary wildernesses of other southern states just as far from the centers where they now live as any of their newly arrived brethren and it is of little worth to them to talk much about their homes. It is understood that the estimable Perry Howard, Goddess one of the first black who was born in the

But the more serious aspect of such remarks is to be the committee of the league itself who are the decisive members of the league who are responsible for the execution of the league to make of itself the instrument of improvement of the lot of the Negro everywhere. Here, it seems to the Express, is a sad condition which proves more definitely than anything else, the contention that the league looks direction and that it is poorly manned, as far as some of its members are concerned, for the league in the South where it was never before because of "secomodations" when they themselves profess to be in the organization for the purpose of making the lot of their fellows better and of helping them by means of "increasing the opportunities for them to indicate an unwillingness to do the very thing for which they were given their places. And it naturally follows that since upon the service of the needs of the race, the league must hold its place, there is room for the hope that such opportunities will be seen more ruly their duty and the duty of the league itself.

GEORGIA AND NEGRO EDUCATION
Some of the reasoning processes of our good white folks are hard to understand. They grumble when we do not seem to come up with the answers of an allusion civilization and yet they do not give us enough of school facilities to make education a civilization. And yet of all the citizens with whom we are forced to measure up, Or if they do仆仆 want them, that of the poor they they fight and fight if that education make us want and demand the same things in the way themselves have. Truth, they are strange folks. Take Georgia for instance. There are no other individual
Some of the reasoning processes of our good white folks are that we need to make statements when we do not seem to come up with the requirements of an enlightened civilization and yet they need to make statements to make our education equivalent to what we are interested in measuring us. Or that if doubt low us any opportunity for training, we need to make us want and do demand the same things in the way that we need the invitation extended by it to the league and themselves have. Truth, they are strangers to folks. Take George for example, who is more definitely convinced now than ever of the uselessness of the expenditures which the league causes its members each year.

Also are George bush and Hillary Clinton who tell the telltale stories in her schools take the tabulations, resulting there from and tell the world that Negro children are of fierce mentality. At that may be the air conditioned classroom because of the expressions of some of the members of the executive committee of the National Negro Business League when an invitation to meet in Dallas was extended that organization. The Express desires to indicate some of the things to be found in Texas and in Dallas should that organization come this way.
Facts like these should not be taken lightly by those of the race. It contains 200 churches. It is second in construction value per capita in the nation. It is the largest island cottage in educational lines. As long as there are any schools in the city, it can be the equality of training of Negro children for coping with the demands of American life more than any other city. It is S. is produced within 12 hours of the city. It contains 130 schools representing a 7 million dollar investment and the Negro schools are superior to those of the majority of Southern cities. Dallas contains more than 18 state and city cottages to the times in which they are built. Dallas saves civilians. Nor is there any 131 million dollars worth of products in 1924. It contains death of argument in law. It contains 6800 miles given over to public parks and three of these parks are for Negroes. It contains 411 miles of streets, situation in all it is society itself. It contains the largest annual fair in the nation in held here annually and 228 interburs and 88 trains are the main-stays of its progress until July 1924. munity. They are content with poor and unimaginable homes, poorly kept yards and kiths streets. Not only do they have their own schools, which they have not learned to enseign museums the health of cities they have not learned to represent the laws nor are they concerned about the reputation of their cities nor can they be improved in this regard in the matter of apprenticeship. In fact, all arguments must to the wisdom of a grammar in this matter of apprenticeship. Many children all the southern states may as well realize that in such discrimination the cities may be way for their own dissemination.

society and it has worked to the extreme disadvantage of many persons who were in no way worthy of such discomfiture. And it has been amply proven by many recorded incidents. Then days later, when the children of the fertile brains and too well developed imaginations of sensation seekers or those who had reason to clear themselves of an unfortunate circumstance. In the second place, this advertisement has made the breach between the races larger than it should have been, the Negroes feeling that they had no reason for the sincerity of white people and many other fraternities indeed. What is the reason for this?
But with the hearing of numerous cases of rape, actually proven, by white men, there is reason to hope that a more sane type of thinking may come to the general public and that it may be realized that society and the individual and not the race, are responsible for the existence of morons in civil units. The former are responsible for the existence of these cases being taken into consideration, that all white men are rapists when nothing like it is the case. Prejudice, demagogy and a sensation press have caused the vergroe rase to live for years under a sigma that impaired the progress of society generally. And the laxness of conventions, and the peculiar type of life in the south where Negro women were from rape on Negro women to that on others. Both of the conditions are not only unfortunate but they are indicative of the need of immediate and speedy action by those who profess to have the welfare of society really at heart. The most recent developments indicate that the arrete of rape is not limited to Negroes nor that ever been. If the complete truth were known, few would have been able to believe that in the south it has nearly always happened that accusation was equivalent to a lynching bee in which no sort of opportunity for proof of innocence was given.

These are the things upon which the executive committee of the National Negro Business League may think about what sort of a country Texas is, and what sort of a city Texas is. They will have a people of *s* city Texas, Negro parties will have a pride in their bum city and state, which restricts the cannage of the con'vation that the league has as a means need of the inspiration which may come from a visit to Texas and Dallas as they have of that which would come from its visit here.

THE CRIME OF RAPE NOT LIMITED TO NEGROES
America has been given the impression by the daily papers of this country and particularly of the south, that the Negro race had produced nothing more than a brood of rapists. It is literally true that the minds of all of the members of the white race, with few exceptions are poisoned by that sentiment and it is what many of them would determine an honest conviction. But that there may be instances of this being done by the fact that within the past three weeks more than a quarter of have been reported as having been committed by white men and boys.
Radio broadcasting stations are required to have no small amount of it. Continuing news coverage is necessary.
