They pointed out in the resolutions asking for the united effort of all members of adult age that the school funds of the state profited by the payment and at the same time the civic duty of every person to qualify to vote was discharged. Nor is it to be reasoned that were such statements literally true the south of today, the south of the country, the south of the government. Having to rush away to the meeting of the delegations of the 14th Episcopal District to the coming General Conference which met in Houston last week, we did not have time to get in the center of our district, because we have to tell the story of two splendid quarterly meeting this week. At the close of the wonderful meeting at the Greater Bethol when Dr. R. Young and his good people had what is declared one of the greatest quarterly meeting in the history of Bethol, we then turned our face toward Boston. This little city has always borne, the reputation of being one of the most progressive. 1. Texas, and our Church had enjoyed its full share of that spirit of progress. But one has to come in close contact with a people to verify any claim they make, or that is made.
