Not only does he not command himself to the ministerial office of the church of America generally, but he is one of the most important men that may not make any the least contendency of the laxen of the denomination of the laxen of the denomination. Interracial committees have replaced small hands of those whose sole purpose in life was the harrying of Negroes who attempted to be self respecting. A spirit of real cooperation is being manifest in many places where formerly unacceptable behavior was considered in the clivic equation at all. And it all has been caused by the attitude of this organization which has taken its job the "testing of the reality of American democracy." And though it has been cordially hated in times past by those who have made the greatest progress because of it, it is now as cordially hated in times past by those who have reason to be thankful for its many years of existence. growth of this department of the order has been phenomenal and more representatives than ever before. Bevis the City Auditorium will give room and the opportunity for an elaborate display and background to engage the natural beauty of the contests and to display their gorgeous costumes to better advantage. This is one of the banded events of the grand session and the events of the day generally draw thousands of visitors to the cities in which the annual meeting is held. Other features of the meeting include a symposium to which representatives of the various professionals and villages within the trade appear in short pressures. According to the program, Prof. C. H.
