DENISON WELCOMES U.B.F.'S
HOME EDITION
When we are whipped and locked in a fair fight, we have no allies not when men will openly and brazenly deny the written statutes of the comedy when men will openly and brazenly about their procedure and maliciously micropresent the situation (shoot the audience) and no excuse to offer for failing to win in a disadvantaged fight. When we be whipped in a political fight and being tricked out of one's constitutional rights. Mob law in politics is a form of government, and men who resort to such tricks, schemes and unfairly unfit to be trusted with any office of trust, honor or emolence, we do not we intend to sit supinely by and permit a gang of political citizens our family and race of our last vestige of women is indebted to the many citizens for their support, and it seems quite unreasonable and evil to continually resort to the courts for legal redress from such wrongs and evils; we are stunned with roses and "eternal vigilance" (continually staying on the court) and finally, friends and comrades: "The fight is on, but be not weary, Be strong and in His Might hold on." If God be for us, his banner or song is. We will sing the victor's song at

DR. M. W. DOGAN HUNDREDS STUDY HEADS COLLEGE RACE RELATIONS ORGANIZATION AT BLUE RIDGE
Marshall, Texas—President M. W. Dogan, Wogan College, was elected the president of the Association of Neuro Colleges in Texas, due largely to the fact that he was so much to further its materializing. There are nine colleges: Jarvis, Viney, Paul Quinn, Mary Alen, Gandupee, Bibhop, and Wiley, already members of the association, as to what would probably be some of the initial work of the organization of Dogan College, demands upon the attention of the association would run along the line of the organization's uniform standard of entrance requirements operative for the two colleges. He feels that at present there is too much variance, too great disparity, he says, it breeds unwelcome hostility to the lower general educational standard among these colleges. Moreover, he says, it breeds unwelcome hostility to the lower general educational education, it gives the idea that there is a line of loss徙 of energy necessary to be expended so sought by so many who go to college; and consequently they seek this line, which goes from one college to another. He deplored the possibility of the educational movement resolving its problems of more important things—qualities themselves are concerned, for more numbers, ignoring or neglecting them, for more important things—qualities steadily stood for high standards as is evidenced by the marvelous growth of the university, which has presided for thirty years has attained and the superior rank which has undergone leading colleges of the country.
- LEAVES FOR VACATION.
Dr. P. P. Stone, one of our leading physician, left this week for a period of time to attend a conference in the leading hospitals in North and Central Texas. The doctor plans to do two things in his former hospital located in his former home. He was accompanied by his entire family, the trip being made overland in their Cadillac. long before a permanent reformation will be affected along this and other routes, noisy streets frequented by the homeless will be the focus. We take this occasion to congratulate Mayor Holcomb and Chief Officer of the United States Office on Inter-Racial Co-operation, for the appointment of these two officers; and we also wish to compliment Officers Jordan and Stevenon for their success or failure as peace officers, will determine the future policy regarding colored police officers
SUBJECT GIVEN: Prominent Place on Southern Conference Program Students Interestably AT BLUE RIDGE
YEAR BLDGE, N. C.—This summer, and for several years past, the study of race relations has been a major feature held at the public conference, and the interlibrary message has reached thousands of people in positions Among the meeting so far held in which the subject has had a prominent place in the public conference. In all these there have been group discussions or platform addresses in students, in a powerful address that made a profound impression on the students of Hampton Institute and I. B. Roose of Shaw University were present by those were entertained by the conference for several days, making a very favorable impression of white students in attendance from all over the Southeast. At the Misericordia Conference, R. B. Eleser, director of the Commission on Interactive Co-operation, presented the number of discussion groups, as he did also at the Y. W. C. A. Industrial Conference.
It is generally admitted that one of the most hopeful recent trends in the teaching of college students is manifolding in this subject, as indicated by the fact that many of the institutions are conducted in principal southern colleges, in addition to colleges and discussion groups. Interracial speakers, white and colored, are also given发言, and the colleges and discussion platforms. The significance of this development is in the fact that many of today who are interesting themselves in this question will be the leaders

A special train via the South and North Texas, arrived in day morning, bringing several to the 40th annual grand session and Sisters of the Mystery, though greeted, upon their arrival the ardor and enthusiasm of the billed one bit; and by the early dissipated all clouds from the hardened. This met the hearty visitors. M. T. train included a Pulman group of houstonians. The Silver received a big hand at Dallas and on the way to Houston, it was music galore en route to the sector of the Houston band, and rabail band. There were the white people in Texas ready to help us, if we will only help ourselves; and we need not expect our own brothers to strike a blow on our own freedom and liberty. Not only should the pulman be brothers in the sight of God, but they are brothers in the sight of man. Grand Master Presented.
Little Miss White Mae Pierce presented the gavel to Grand Master W. Bledie, who complained of the lack of time outside of the church and urged the parents to bring their children on the outside of the church and urged them to them and their race. He further stated that "this is one grand lodge and its recommendations for dancing or dancing of any kind." He presented its approval of this statement.
Grand Princess Speaker.
Mrs. Bledie, grand princess of the sisters of the Mysterious Ten, was presented and handed a big hand by the audience.
Prior to the beginning of the public meeting, hands rendered an open air concert in front of the church, with Prof. J. H. Haywood and Dead Members Honored.
Memorial exercises in honor of the sisters of the Palestine, and other deceased members of the church, were held Tuesday morning at president Houston College and grand chaplain of the order, conducted the service and delivered the memorial service. The educator stated that character is the only thing a person takes to the grave and to live a life of service and usefulness.
Every appropriate music was performed for the occasion, including a tenor solo, "Jesus Christ," Jr. Port Worth, with Prof. Rohde, also a musical genus, at the piano.

Many Race Leaders Here.
In his remarks the grand master said:
There are three institutions that undele the possibilities of all race and civilized developments. The first is the college, which instills confidence, race loyalty, history achievement, nobility, and grandeur in mother and father. The second is the mother and the father must teach the noble strains of their forebears, the victories of their triumphs, the achievements, their trials, their struggles, their victories and triumphs. It omitted in the school of home education the great firefighters teachers and the children are the school, with object to the great firefighters' scriptures, it will never be taught elsewhere. The second institution is the school. If in our schools we are taught the nobility, the wonder, the greatness, the supremacy, control, the power, the world over, in the past and present, with their founders and histories of the group, being denied record and a right to be heard, should be seen and understood, serve as a means of educating us away from race fundamentals and the group, being removed from the possibilities of ardent desires of education us. This educational movement of our nation has far removed from the possibilities of ardent desires of education us.

The Negro church shall stand, when the world shall almost be dead, and the world shall almost be the world, of the world, as the champion of justice to mankind that is applaused, as the voice of the underdogs of every race, and the leader of right regards of who is involved, as the exposer of wickedness. The Negro church has brought us to where we are today. It is our one great hope still for the promotion of the Negro church, and for drift from it, but we must drift if we (Continued on Page 8).

GALVESTON AND HARRIS
COUNTIES SHOW THE WAY
The Dallas Express: Are areas in Harris and Galveston counties are showing the rest of their follows the way to a victory. The two areas are the party of the choice in the way in which they have lined up behind men of their own color who have entered the race. The Creeger, "boss" of Texas G. O. P. they are raising money for their own business of thinkers of the other race and in support of the services or OF LOOKING FOR A PLACE AT THE PIE CENTER PHONE. OWN MONEY AND ARE DOING IT FOR THE GOOD WHICH THEY ARE REAP FROM THEIR EMPLOYMENT
in the light of all of the past history of the participation of Negroes in the war, and is unusual. But it seems actuated by the proper spirit and it is being used in the war only for the not only of the rest of the members of the race but of all other races. And the truth of this statement is borne out by the fact that their cause is attracting within the state. Their fight will bear fruit in the strength of the masses who heretofore have felt that politics was not the issue, and that sentiment has found them. And the strength of the race within the past years during which their political fortunes have been growing has been the others on notice that is a militant spirit in existence among Negroes in the war. In many of many years ago, they by the promise of dollars but that they are actuated by the spirit of the war spired to have their rights in the political arena as are. The Express is highly attested at the maximum amount of money of Harris and Galveston counties. It wishes for them the maximum amount of money of Editor Richardson and that of the members of the race in Houston to move the movement to see him through. It is only unfortunate that such is not the case in every county.
The defeat of the Crasger machine in Texas may spell political freedom for the state, but it remains in the republican party. It is most certainly true that the only candidate who has been seen for many days which Texas has seen for many days is Harry Wurzbach whose record in the race has been so good that it is possible that his group will place a candidate in the field in Dallas. We hope that the candidate will feel the choice has been made. The Express is for him and that he will come to the realization that the hope of Negro participation in the affairs of the party lies in defeat of the candidate. Another better one for it. And the record of Congressman Wurzbach is that he has built up the actions which he builds to build up. The actions of Galveston and Harris counties have been to build up the actions to follow. They have made political history of the sort that should be made in Texas.

"And some fell upon good ground"
The Sower, in the parable, cast his seed to the winds of heaven.
That which landed among the stones, the thorns and in the barren places, perished.
Only the seeds which reached the good ground had a chance to grow.
The modern advertiser does not strew his seed of salesmanship to the winds.
He plants it carefully in the "good ground"—in the places where because of favorable conditions it has a chance to bear a harvest of consumer results.
He uses newspaper advertising because through the newspapers he covers completely the markets he knows, upon careful investigation, to be right places for his product to flourish.
Adoedtising in The Informer Sells the Goods
Wins the Brown Derby
Our free verse prize for realism goes to the catch—a-catch-can hard who penned these immortal lines: "There once was a guy who saves my life, and then he opens to open his old strong box and purchase some pretty wild stocks, and they trimmed this bimbo down to his size—X-Port-Worth Star-Nelumbral."
Conversational Deceit
Men of great conversational powers
manifest universally practice a sort of
vocalization, a way of communicating
which devises for the moment both
them and their auditors—Mamayal.
Parliament's Lifetime
The life of a British parliament is now limited to five years. Originally seven years was the limit, but a few years ago this was reduced to five.
