We would certainly register strenuous objections to our life being enmured by the medical profession of any physician, nurse or hospital attendant whose examination and a dnd examination would have to immediate fatal results in the recent case of Samuel Davis, 1204 Boston College, in which his indifference, prejudice, ignorance, stupidity or downright lateness of Jefferson Davis Hospital attaches. I do not think much of a Negro's life, and, having seen how Powell was lynched and the result faunces him in form I am certain he would be in these hospital attendants cared little if another black man's life was sacerdotic. I am not sure justice, hatred, bigotry and intolerance (Will Mayor Hallage please lead us in prayer)? . . .
With three colored senior high schools and one junior college, the two colleges are three of the Houston eleven shows that this city has a wealth of gridlock and teaming. Despite the fact that the three senior high schools divide the football material three-fold, judging from the teams since the establishment of the two additional high schools able to get much solace from this fact; and, whether invading eleven clubs with Phillip Wheeler, Wildcat, and Washington Golden Eagles, the in-

WOMAN EXPIRES WHILE PRAYING IN CHICAGO HOME
Chicago, Illinois —(IAP) —Last Sunday when John W. Duncan, 38 West 38th street, left his wife to make his "rom" to McCormick, he and Mr. Duncan went to a funeral reminiscent. Sunday was the day of their thirty-seventh wedding anniversary, and they were thankful that when he was married, they also enjoyed another year together. When Mr. Duncan left, it was understood that when he returned, he and his wife were to celebrate. Mr. Duncan took an easy chair by whom he had her husband set diet and proceeded to read the newspaper, break down, and then went to a nursing院, an aged woman, was piddling around in a back room. After reading the newspaper, Mr. Duncan went into her bedroom knelt by the bed in prayer. She re-read, so long that her aged mother became prayed and touched her shoulder. There was no response. Dallas, Texas, October 15, 1928.—Meeting for the fourth consecutive year as the stellar sporting attraction on "Negro Day" at the Dallas State Fair, and playing before a crowd approximating 8,000 wild and raid football fans and "fanetetee," the Wiley College Wildcats of Marshall and the Langston University Tigers of Langton, Oklahoma, battled to a 7-7 deadlock here Monday.
As the shades of a Texas autumn sun were enveloping the Fair Park Stadium, where the thrilling and hectic contest had been bitterly waged, as the irresistible force and immovable object clashed on the gridiron, the Wiley supporters, for who three years had seen their team emerge on the short end of the score in these annual tilt with the Sooner State gridders, rent the air with a shout of joy and exultation; for the fact that Wiley had held to a tie her traditional enigma was sufficient reasons for shouting and rejoicing on the part of the purple and white adherents.
Langton made a touchdown and field runner, constituted the outstanding feature of the game, course of minutes after the referee's whistle had officially put the game under way, and it began to appear as if the "Langton jinx" was again hanging heavy on the Wildcats, who had been the team's most successful training in their East Texas tail for this football clause, under the exact training of Coach Long.
The team was unbounded by the early scoring of the Oldhamians, and continued to rush fresh reserves into the fray as the fighter trained in their East Texas tail for this football clause, under the exact training of Coach Long.
But back to Harding's scintillating player. This young fellow, former Wilberforce University griddler, established the Fair Park Stadium line or forward wall of defense was welling impregnable, breaking the Fair Park Stadium. Standing on his own 10-yard line, Harding's team was primary defense respectively for gains.

But back to Harding's scintillating Wiley Forbier University grubder, established a new record for pointing at his back behind his own 10-yard line. Harding kicked the oval to the 2-yard line of Langston, a beautiful spiral and the oval behind his own 10-yard line. Harding ever executed in these parts (Continued on Five Pie)

Cleveland, Ohio—(ANP) “There is no iniquity in office equal to that has practiced and is now practicing upon the handicapped black souls in the south,” declared Atty. W. A. Booker, Little Rock, Ark., speaking here Tuesday night in a Republican convention, “There is no justification, therefore, for colored people anywhere in America voting for the Smith-Robinson ticket,” continued Mr. Booker, “With Senator Robinson, the floor is open, away sometimes indirectly but most of the time directly taking arms against every measure for our people, it would be inconsistent, illogical, and outrageous for us to even imagine that our dominance would be the perpetuation of the old time, fossilized half-prepared Negro president, leadership of color upon the scene to intelligently assert our rights and our power without the party. The day has passed when we will be the wooded upon this creed of Hoover: Equality of opportunity is the right of every American, rich or poor, foreign or colored. CHCAGO DEMS SUPREME COURT BACK COLORED WILL HEAR BESS SMITH EFFORT CASE NOVEMBER
New York.—A brief history of the fight against segregation in Washington government bureau, carried out by the advocacy organization for the Advancement of Colored People, has been made public at the association's offices, 69 Fifth Avenue. In the policy of segregating government employees was extended and fortified under President Wilson, once once victorious against the plight of the parture. A letter signed for the N. A. G. J. by Moorfield president, Katherine Waldwalt G. Villard, pointed out the fallacy of the defense of segregation on the basis of safety in the possession of their jobs in all-Negro bureaues or sections; and the limitation in opportunity inflicted by the practice. In 1913, Mary Childs Nerney then secretary of the N. A. C. A. P., made a report on an investigation that had undertaken in which she wrote: "Segregation is no new thing in Washington and the present administration, but it has been augmented it. The past few months of Democratic party control, however, have been marked by more than a beginning of systematic enforcement. A policy of the present government.
"The effect is startling. Those people are regarded as a much smaller set apart, a much smaller set of allaying race prejudice, as some of the advocates of segregation would have been made."
Chicago, III—(ANP)—At a recent meeting of the Democratic managing committee of Cooke County, special preparations were made for endorsing Governor Smith and Democratic candidates on the state and county tickets, under the leadership of Atty. Earl B. Dickerson. An executive committee of major A. J. E. Patterson, Atty. A. J. John L. Pullen, Edgar G. Brown, and one colorled leader from each of nineteen wards with a large colored population, was selected to conduct the campaign. The new organization of colored voters has been assigned headquarters in the Sherman hotel and every room in the city, the support of colored voters for Governor Smith and the state and county tickets. The movement has been organized and will handle matters to bring out a large vote for Democrat candidate

When the warden went to the chamber, he said, "I will sing." Let " Jesus Lead Me Out "
The warden opened the door and led them into the sunlight which they found in the cellar. John Pickney, 16 years old, was held in the cellar for a step out. The warden was sentenced to Charlton for the murder of his common-law wife, it being charged that he soaked her with an inflammable substance. Brown, Palmer, Brown, and Plicker, were charged with the murder of Charlie Loy, a Chamman. The governor is investigating the case against him. Miss Neumy found aggregation to exist in the Bureau of Printing and Engraving, in the Post Office Department, and in the Treasury Department, and reported upon it in tail.
The facts were again sought by the N.A. A.C. P. in an investigation entrusted in January, 1926, to Miss Rebecca Drucker. SUPREME COURT WILL HEAR BESS CASE NOVEMBER
Columbia, S. C.—(ANP)—Action on the appeal of the case of Ben Bess will be taken at the November term of the supreme court, according to present indications. The attorney general of the state has said that he would be willing to accept the appeal, J. Frederick, attorney for Bess, has asked that the case be set off until the November term so that he might have time for the printing of the records.
The appeal for a supreme court hearing was filed last Saturday.
Recently the circuit court upheld the revocation of a pardon granted Bess by the governor after the complainant in the case for which he was convicted of a crime, and for confessing that the testimony she had made to convict Bess was untrue. Bess was sent to serve thirty years in prison, and the woman. He has served thirteen years, sell his "medicines," at least for the present. It is the effect of a decision of the state supreme court, handed down this morning, in which a permanent sentence was imposed. Price Dale last December is dissolved. On the ground that the wrong legal counsel was involved in the case and that trial by jury was denied the "doctor," the court reversed the chancellor's decision and dis

For example, chemists hold that a unit of any given substance, the mole, is equivalent to the number of atoms of elemental matter. Thus, a molecule of water contains two atoms of hydrogen and one of oxygen, and each of the phosphoric acid contains two atoms of hydrogen, one of sulphur, and four of "but." says Prof. Alexis, "each molecule contains two atoms and two electrons." He terms his theory as an "overthrow of modern scientific thought concerning the basic principles of chemistry."

That was an interesting group of women who met at Englemeere, Pa. last week to discuss the church and its relation to the inter-racial question. They attended a seminal session of the Inter-Racial Conference of Church Women, initiated by the women of the Commission on the Church and Race Relations of the Federal Council. In cooperation with the Council of Women for Home Missions, and the National Board of the Young Women's Christian Association, they met equal proportions of colored and white. There were about seventeen of both races would be hard to meet, and they met a more representative body of women of both races would be hard to meet. MILLER WRITES LETTER TO HOOVER
AMERICA'S GREATEST WEEKLY NEWSPAPER
Noted Educator Exposes Faults of Party Leaders
Herbert H. Clover. Republican Candidate for President, D. C.
Dear Sir,
As an American citizen belonging to a minority group whose national rights are being infringed up on with shameful impunity, I am undertaking to write you on behalf of ten million loyal and patriotic American citizens of African descent, wish to confain in the outset that my management is the self-schooled management of my race deriving conditions all Negro leaders, so called, are either self-chosen or hand picked. The only competency claimed rests on the fact that for many years I have given up my political problem in its political as well as moral aspects@which justifieth the assumption of faith to fathom the workings of the colored man's mind and the moral character of an understandable term. The competency of the essayist and the essayist of the ten million of my race. I shall aim to state the racial attitude just before nothing extimated and nought set down.
I was the first or among the first of the colored race to advocate your rights, and I press and in at least one national daily. This I did at a time when many of the students occupying the front seat on the Hoover band wagon, were sitting on the hustopist discerning the signs of the political wedge of the political wedge. I favored your nomination and election because I believed that you were the best candidate for the American electorate. I still hope to adhere to this attitude as fully as possible. But candor compels me to confess that my zeal for the triumph of the "grand old party" whose standpoint all but to the freezing point by unforeseen happenings, leading up to, transpiring at, and growing out of, the
No sooner was the convention adjourned than did your management enter in operation. First, the field must be cleared of every Negro leader who functioned effectively in the operation. This was necessary to make place for their lily-white planters. These must all be discarded or removed from the lily-white participation. The tactics of the bourbon Democrats in overthrowing the regime of recounting the Negro official odings in the eye of the nation by fixing upon a criminal committee from Mississippi, the Negro official odings from Mississippi, was indicted, be prosecuted by one of your chief lieutenants, on a charge of treason, and be fined twice when he had assisted to secure appointment. Benjamin J. Davis, national committee from Mississippi, charged with charge and maneuvered out of his commitmenship. Walter Cohen, surveyor of the port of Louisiana, the Republican party in Louisiana, was indicted at an earlier stage, for violation of the Volunteer Militia relegated to make room
for his 'lily-white supplaner. Robert R. Church, who controlled the political fortune of the Republican party in a congressional district of Pennsylvania, issued a list of extorting tactics for political insurrection. The list every Southern Negro leader has been discredited, cast down from places of power. The rule of the lily-
I understand that you desire to set up a new leadership, white and black, but why begin with the poor Negro whose hands are blacker than the rest, only by reason of physical punishment, by reason of mindsets of its highest officials, has been mirrored the government indignation. When the Negro is out evading the slightest indication of spontaneous resentment or righteous indignation, When the Negro is out evading the worst embodied Republican circles, fingers fly to the lips signalling a minister and circumcision "should indeed purge and purify itself of the record covering the first part of the past eight years, of New functionaries, whose alleged misdeeds involve only a few thousand dollars, who have a deep feel mind as being either genocidal or
Mr. Secretary, I often wonder if you are senile of the deep injury that has been inflicted on me by petrified in your name, and on your behalf, are inflicted upon the republic, vitally dependent upon its reputation, as all weak people are. The imminent danger should not be entrusted with public power by reason of racial venality or other half generation to outlive the curse which those who overthrow reconstruction inflicted upon this race should be entrusted with power of that experiment to innate Negro effervency to stand up to the floor of congress and point to fabricated misdeeds of Negro participants as the result of the enslavement to trustvert power in Negro hands. In my judgment, for the Republican party, half to lend the sanction of its approval to this evil propaganda against the rest cut of all. No political party within our history has ever persecuted a more dastardly piece of villainy.
Let me be perfectly frank. I am willing to concede that in the present situation, I must be fictitious to the point of impossibility to build up an effective competitive Republican party in the South under the pressure of the national effort to carry out your evident purpose to split the "solid South," it may have been necessary to remove Negroes from the South and reorganize the Theodore Roosevelt declared this to be his policy in building up a Progressive party in the South. He was a man of age and candor of his policy. He stated frankly that he would place white men at the head of the table, black men at the head of the table, white, but under the existing conditions, they were better instruments with which to carry out his purpose. He would color men to find their places at the table according to their ability, weight and worth. His policy was

The Repubitan party gave the Negro his freedom, citizenship and enlightenment, and poses a debt of gratitude which is hard to repay. But it is a law of human psychology that that gratitude is a kind of latent attitude of the benefactor. Whenever a Pharah arises that knows not Joseph, a Moslem who emerges that has been a Muslim, Basha has said that it is needless to refer to Washington and Lincoln in the campaign for the issues of slavery and Charles Summer, Thaddeus Stevens and the galaxy of brilliant Repubitan leaders in the three Civil War amendments into

It is a ninth heir to the throne, a ninth paid fear of perpetuity for benefactions of a bygone time on the wave of a spent moral force. I notice that your campaign managers have been unable to the effect that over fifty thousand Negroes are employed in the public service, which is praiseworthy as far as lacking in candor in not giving Woodrow Wilson's administration credit. The Republican party deserves only a minor measure of credit. It is also a lower level of the public service at an average salary which falls below a minimum of a decent living wage. It is also a reasonable representation in the higher levels as well as in the lower ranks.
The last two Republican administrations have manipulated the manipulation of the civil service machinery in order to give him out of his just dues. When a loyal and patriotic American citizen is indicted and wins over other competitors, and is then deprived of the promised reward by tricky contempt, the game is fixed in accusing the government of sharp practice which would not be allowed to house. Good sportmanship requires that the one who makes the rules of the game should certainly play the game, and not be the one owning making. As result of this sharp practice (I hate to use such an ugly epithet against the government) the man was forced to leave the classified service. I entered the government service as a service officer on the days when Grover Cleveland was president and the Theodore Roosevelt was civil service commissioner. Mr. Roosevelt's career, took the firm position that every applicant should have a square foot of office. This he was upholded by the courageous

Democratic president, Grover Cleveland. Why should the race now expect less at the hands of a Republican administration?
The process of segregation has grown up in the public service durings of the 1960s and 1970s, for us to suppose, for the sake of argument, a Democratic administration inaugurated this undemocratic policy, still two subsequent Republican ones have done little or nothing to undo it. It is not a tawdry that the "grand old party," which now sets apart qualified Negro public servants as if they were citizens, has not done that party that wrote into the constitution the phrase "without regard to race or color." Race is grateful to you. Mr. Hoover, by abrogating segregation in the department over which you preside, it was welcome, even if come to your attention, in administration. Great pressure is being brought to bear by your lily-wilde prolesm to have you deny, disavow and come to your attention American and Republican act. This is but a suggestion of the price you would pay for your lily-wilde reenforcement.
The Ku Klux Klan sprung up after the Civil War for the express purpose of "protecting" the measure of his rights as an American citizen. The Republican party of that day destroyed that evil and wicked organization upon the heels of the World War for the same un-American purpose. The Ku Klux Klan was then able to qualify as a one hundred percent American, one must be white and have a dark complexion to meet the second test but cannot possibly measure up to the first. The Ku Klux Klan met in the South and in the Democratic party, but was driven body and baga-ge from that party, declaring that they were four years ago. It then sought and found hospitality in the Republican party, and was abducted to the West and North. It has gained all but complete control of the western states, notably in Indiana, where it now has two governors—one in the penitentiary and one out. The wicked work-ings of the klan under the administration abandoned the proceedings with shocking suddenness at the suggestion of influential politicians who feared the
Many, many Negroes will vote the Democrat against the protest against the apathy of the public party. A slap in the face of a Democrat will deepen the hurt than a like blow from the hand of an awed enemy. The Negro is human and will be acquainted by the Negro.
During the campaign of four years ago, Mr. John W. Davis, Democratic senator, and Senator Robert L. LaFollette, who led the Progressive, both seethroughly denounced the evil purpose of the Kvv president, who was both the Republican president and candidate for self-sucession, remained an silent as the spitup, and the president, in the form of the order the president forwrote with a padlock upon the lips of his runners-up, "the old party" seemed to be "neither avowals or disavowals, but votus." This was the origin of the whispering which seems to be still in operation.
WHY NOT CULTIVATE THE NEGRO REPUBLIC VOTE OF TEXAS
The Dallas Express:
It seems that both the Express and the Negro Republican agree on the need for the cultivation of the tremendous Negro vote of this state by the Republican party; a thing which is not now being definitely done. Several weeks ago the Express called attention to such a thing that the former expressed the same sentiments in such a way that they should be unable to escape the direct consideration of the leaders of the party. It is literally true that, taking into consideration the possible access of the former expressed Democrat, Hower from disatisfied Democrat, the Negro Republican vote of this state, together with the white Republican vote, would be sufficient to land the now apparent contest. That such steps are not being taken is to be wondered at in the light of now apparent conditions, and that every energy must be bent if there is to be Republican success in the actual vote.
Texas is ready for cultivation. It will yield large results and there is as many votes from dissatisfied Democrats as now are being claimed by the party. Italy is also cultivating the Negro vote will change the political aspect of the state, and without the cooperation of national headquarters, those who see the opportunity most plainly are helped to aid.

BISHOP VICTOR OVER PELICAN CITY GRIDDERS
Marshall, Ted. - The Bishop Bears get off to a running start in the current gridiron season by entirely restoring the much touched New Orleans University squad by a score of 47-20. Bingham made the first Bear Hearst formation, when he intercepted a former score of the Louisiana grid aggregation and raced out and raced unmolested to none. After that it was a regular "big parade," with Joe Wilson, powerful and speedy Bear fullback, smashing a total of 24 markers. Watson, Houston product, made some beautiful Tiger pints and was the most broken field runner of the game.
Much praise should be accorded to the line which held admirably and the other which gave more through it and those yards. "Big Retik, Big Retik, Big Retik," Wilson made through it and three yards. "Big Retik, Big Retik, Big Retik," Wilson made the tiger forward will seem as if it were compounded and shows promise of developing and shows promise of developing hands and shows promise of developing hands and shows promise of developing hands, though not carrying imminent danger, also circled men determined reason, also circled men invincible, except by several men. SPORTS POTPOURRI
The great question now confronting the American electorate is: Hoover or Smith?
On Tuesday, November 6, 1928, the American electors will go to the polls and express their preference for president of the United States for another four years. The campaign is now getting into its final stages, with speeches and rallies in all sections of the country. Despite the result of the presidential election, the American people will continue to pursue the even tenor of their way, and do business at the same old stands. Whether it is publishing a newspaper, printing all types of jobs from a calling card to an encyclopaedia, the result of the election will not interfere with our business; and we shall be pleased to serve your printing needs in the most modern and best equipped plant of its kind owned and operated by the race in the entire Southwest. People judge a professional man or woman, or business concern largely by the class of his or its stationery and printing, and all down-to-the-minute professional and business people realize the value of good printing—PUBLICITY. Aside from our physical equipment to do that job RIGHT for you, we are also contributing our "bit" in helping to solve the race's vexing economic problem by affording decent and profitable employment to several members of the Negro race.
In proportion as you patronize and support our printing enterprise, in a like ratio will you assist and enable us to employ more members of the race in various capacities.
When in need of printing of any kind, remember that we are as near you as your telephone, and we shall be delighted to have one of our representatives call upon you and help you solve your PRINTING and PUBLICITY needs.

THE HOUSTON INFORMER, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20, 1928
Atlanta, Ga.-Athens, University, in a bactic contest, defeated Alabama State last Saturday by a score of 7.6, before a very large crowd. At the game, the team was off, permitting Alabama to receive the ball, and by a tautificative drive netting three first downs resulting in a touchdown, Wiggins kicked goal. The rest of the first quarter and most of the second quarter was a punting attempt by the team, and Moore of Alabama. At first the honors were about even, but towards the end Moore was not good for more than twenty to thirty yards, while McPherson averaged between fifty and sixty. Toward the end of the second quarter, Pierce, all-American, scored a touchdown to leave the game and belt Alabama to a standdill.
The third quarter was in Alabama's territory. Boyd of Alabama intercepted a pass by Wiggins but did not gain. Wiggins made another pass and scored a touchdown, the ball was raced the ball ten yards more. Alabama spent herself in trying to make a dart on Atlanta's ball, but the wall
The fourth quarter was full of thrills, Alabama, growing desperate, with the ball going through succession, only one of which was successful, and that for 35 yards, from the ball, the Stanley of Louisville ran a 10-yard run. In their initial game of the season the Yates Lions had a run away with their opponents from Calvert. High school players in the Lions in practically every position, and at the outset seemed quite formidable. In the first few minutes of play, the Lions made a thirty-yard half-check to the wing making them appear dangerous for the time being. But the play was made worse when the time-saving the next move of the enemy at nearly every stage of play. The Yates team proved itself to be a formidable team.

Signals By Langston End
No individual praise can hardly be accorded the Langton backfield, for the four Sonsen performed in the same sensational and consistent, manner, giving the crowd many thrills and laughter. The players entered into the ranks of the Wylers support team. The Tiger line was as strong as usual, but Coach Long outmatched the Oklahomaans by his "big parade" of Wildat reserve, who literally ran the game. A novel feature of the game was the calling of signals by Johnson, hunky Langton end, who handled the cool and well-trained field coach. The crowd was the largest in the history of those interpersonal games, from Marshall carrying Wiley faculty, students, and sympathizers represented, including Waco, Fort Worth, Houston, Wichita Falls, Texas, and many other points. A large delegation was on hand from the Sooner State,

BULLDOGS FAILED
TO DEVOUR ELEVEN
OF LA N E COLLEGE
Jackson, Trem.-Pike *u* University and L学院 hosted a 0.9 verdict here last Saturday. The outcrop was Yore, Thornell, and Lewis; You were, Thornell, and Lewis; and Lawrie, Triplett, Brett, and McKenzie. The game was featured by brilliant passing on both sides, the defense was strong, and the back of Lane. The game was fast, clean, and hand played from beginners to seniors, having defeated Lane last year 26-4, but the Dragon was not ground and three times missed defeat from their record within one minute of the game. You had galloped eighty yards across Lane's goal to be callibrated on account of a Pail back hit.
The spectators were on their feet each moment of the game, so finally they were able to watch each of each team. Both teams had insignificant line defense so that forward kicking for distances of fifty and eight yards became the order of the day, and the defense yards. Cox Johnson and Coach Will Fink had a fine opportunity to analyze the strength of their Buildings, and now feel that their Buildings, primed for one of the hardest matches in the season, force at Nashville Saturday, Oct. 20.

The Negro exhibits were good throughout and the school exhibits were no less remarkable than farm products of all descriptions. The thing that called out the most common complaint was that the student not kept pace with what the Negro race is accomplishment, was the exhibition of a bookhouse full of book writings by the wide range of students of Atlanta University. One man came all the way out to the university to make sure what he knew was true. He was chased by the wide range of books in poetry, history, biography fiction, fiction, chase one of the books that impressed him at Atlanta University has entered an exhibit among colleges as distinct from the other colleges for that reason especially gratifying prize and the blue ribbon should be the first entry as a college.

Topics of Christian Stewardship.
1. Examples of True Christian

1. The source of true giving (v. 1).
This is said to be the grace of God
by which is meant that the disposition
of the church is positioned by the Holy Spirit.
This puts the Christian giving on
a much higher plane than that which
bodage of the law to give a tenth.
2. They give from the depths of
their poverty, not from the abundance
The limited means did not cause them to resist their gifts, but their "riches of their liberality." On the basis of this philosophy our poverty ought to be a call for greater generosity. We give liberality. He will give liberality in return.
3. Their willingness suppressed their ambition (v. 3).
God's gifts are reckoned by the degree of wilfulness, not by the degree of generosity. If such grace were to come upon the churches today, there would be an abundance of funds to carry on their work. They were insistent on being allowed the privilege of giving (v. 4). They did not need to be pressured by the church to partram the apostolic method. Today we employ the shrewdest men in financial affairs that can be found to support the churches and the dedication of our churches.
We first gave themselves to the Lord (v. 5).
This is most fundamental to right giving, for when one gives himself to the Lord, he holds his gift. If one does not give himself to the Lord there will be the desire to retain as much for self as can be done within the bounds of reverence. The Lord gives the desire of raising money for the Lord is first to induce men and women to give their lives to the Lord and then to give them to the Lord. I. Emulation of Macedonian Behaviour Urged (I. Cor. 8:0:55). Moved by the generosity of the Macedonian people, I. Urged that to commend to the Corinthians the same grace. This grace he urged upon them, giving. It must be communicated (v. S). It must be communicated: liberal.
3. As the completion and harmonies of Christian charm (v. 7), the use of spiritual gifts such as faith, attention, knowledge, diligence, and in love for their adherents. But the harmonies of spiritual gifts are the harmony of their lives.
4. The use of writing examples of Christ (v. 10). Is it sacrifice in the test of love.
5. Because the prime principles upon which gifts are accepted with God do not estimate the value of a gift on the ground of its intrinsic worth, but the underlying motive of the gift, the law governing it (v. 13-15). Every Christian should give something. The law governing it. **11. Encourage to Give** (H I C. 9; 5.7). The volume of reaping is based upon the sowing (v. 6). Those who sow sparingly cannot expect to reap beautifully. be a heart purpose (v. 7). This calls for intelligence as to the object of giving. be of necessity (v. 7). No particular value accurses to the giver who gives through pressure. **13. God loves a faithful gift.** God loves a faithful gift in understanding of his responsibility toward God with reference to temporal presence will regard living as a glorified life.
There is nothing that America needs any more than the realization that she has God to reckon with.—A. W. Toser.
