Colored Houston, whether they attend the game at Buffalo Stadium today (friday) or at San Antonio, will unite their forces and attend this initial home game in large relief. The final prize offered by the league president for the city registering the largest opening day attendance should be established here Friday afternoon and local welfare fund boosters. A street peple will precede the game, for games of the stadium, after which the lid will be pried off and the homecourt the Bison in action in a regular leisure tilt for 1830. The ball is set at 4 p.m. promptly, with the ceremonies taking place in advance of the contest. A colored physician, who had been injured and then broadcast the news that he caught his mate and the Negro doctor in a compromising position and killed him near and since the dead can not speak for themselves, the reading public accepted the husband's guilt and honest. The newspapers of the country, both in public and near and since the dead can not speak for themselves, the reading public accepted the husband's guilt and honest. The officials, because suspicion and conducted a quiet investigation and found evidence to support the double murder of his wife and race doctor in cold blood, and that his statement regarding the double murder was a hoax to Arrested, the white husband is said to have confessed, the white wife is said to have confessed, and that there was no intimacy between them; that she no longer phlegm in her throat to his wife, apparently to perform an illegal operation, except another, and that while the race doctor was thus engaged he got his revolver and shot both of them to death. He took their bodies, undersured her in the bed and then spread the report that he left them in the room to go to a nearby store and, instead of a window, he opened the intimate relations going on between his wife. Going further in his original state, he that he alipied into the house, got into a window and killed both of them while in bed together. He took a white man in Florida, said to have formerly resided in Pennsylvania, gave out the news that the man had been kidnapped and child with an axe and that he shot the Nepali, the black could be promised. The coroner's jury exonerated this man filled with accounts of the brutal murders committed by the usual "big" kid, the father-husband was in riding society of this blue-collar and female organization, and it was discovered that the shirt worn in the day of the tragedy were on the policy, with a double indemnity clause for death from violent causes. This Nordic husband-father was arrested and charged with assaulting the official state that all the evidence points to the fact he killed his wife and child, and that he killed his own sister in his original story in an effort to cover up crime. The practice of white men blackening their faces and committing crimes an Nerges, seems to be punishable by a legal method seems to be the vogue: to murder members of their own family, to commit an exorcism on the grounds of the "unwritten law," the new Nordic wizard does not seem to be making much headway, for both of these men have been arrested. WOODARD The Negro men and women must take their place in the parent of suc- cess. They must not expect a place to be made for them; they must make the place for them. We can not make a place for our children by spelling out of them trying to be known any good, don't do them any good. Their failures, were magnified, but their achievements were minimized. No great success, accomplished w if out some failures. Standing alone on some ground, standing alone on some ground, standing alone, are easily down on trees; that stand alone on trees that stand alone, are easily cluster are strengthened when storm comes. There are millions of dollars women of the North race, in put to use commonly, would give thou of them to employ them in the daily. The establishment of business is elevating and broads respect, something other than other follows. Sometimes a man has in use for you, personally, have, and what you are doing. You speak of the foreigners who have are getting along. They combined their influence for the good of each in unity there is strength and success. Sometimes a Jew a Jew said to me that I was going to give him a gift, but give along any better is because he has hands and feet too much, and not his hands and feet. He his brain and not his hand and feet, which account for him putting along his hands, and not his woug see a Jew digging in the ditch. Let Negro men and Negro women be strong and feel so much, and use their brains more, success will crown their efforts. They will combine their influences, will combine their influences, be thankful to the Almighty God, the Lord, the poem, and success will crown their efforts. All races are in the out field, and on the same battlefield, the race goes battle or go down in disgrace, and go forward with more determination and with greater seal and courage to organize another bank should not be condemned; because one man should not be condemned. Banks and men of other races have been defaulted, and they did not stop, but they did not stop. Banks are still operating and men are the foreign operator. The foreign comes to the United States and in a little while forms with the other race. How many Negro men and Negro women have form and are in partnership in business with them? Why are men, men and women of other races, the managers, bookkeepers, managers, clerks and camper, and Negro men and Negro women of sometimes delivery boys? Where are the millions of Negroes spending their whole life on whose object is to build up the Negro race? And those Negroes just organized that thing to make some money; you are the organizations that were started by other races doing? They are the organizations that were made money. They are right doing in said about what the other races are doing, nor anything against them; they create all races of men and the races of women and the earth remains. In heaven there will be no races of men, and in hell there will be no races of men, and in hell there will be the spirits of just men made perfect, and in hell there will be The colleges, universities and academies are sending out hundreds of graduates to various positions, and when they return, they are nothing for them to do. He further urged that derogatory situations usually contain harrowing deeds, which make the Negro "almost an alien in his native land," the eminent Dr. Fisher. "If writers feel they must include such situations, it would be better if they gave the opportunity for the expressiveness of their color, whether black or white, the writer on Negro subjects should possess a black designation, "American Negro," was characterized by Dr. Fisher as an almost meaningless term, because he did not designate the black man. Sworn to and subscribed before me this 4th day of April, 1930. S. B. WILLIAMS, Notary Public. (My commission expires June 30, 1931.) Editorial BENEFITS OF ORGANIZED EFFORTS Last week's issue of *The Informer* carried a new item pertaining to the organization in the infusion of direction of Tuweig Institute, organizing cooperative units, so as to receive aid from the United States Farm Loan Board under the provisions of the recently enacted agricultural marketing act. Speaking to a gathering of Negro farmers from all sections of the South, meeting at Tuweig during the winter, Vice Chairman Stone of the United States Farm Loan Board, advised his auditors to organize cooperative units if they would reap any benefits or obtain any financial assistance from the federal government in direction of the organization of these cooperative units on the part of Negro farmers in the Cotton State (Alabama), is an encouraging sign and presages a better day for the members of these various units, if they will function in the same manner as the units organized and operated by the other races in this country. The organization has set out a sad and unhappy lot, when just little effort on their part will greatly improve their condition and make numerous friends for their cause. This is an age of organization, cooperation, combinations and consolidations, and no race can expect to make much headway, along any definite line, that fails or refuses to organize its forces and function in a cooperative manner. The organization organizes in Alabama, but in every state where they are engaged in agriculture. In this connection it hardly seems to amuse the racial group that organization is needed outside of the farming group, for Negro business and professional men are falling short of many opportunities to serve their clientele more effectively and efficiently. The organization is appreciably, due to the age-old method of individual effort. With their hospitals and clinics in all of the principal cities of this country, the physicians of the dominant race, through cooperation and organized efforts, are not only serving members of their own race along medical and scientific lines, but they are taking part in the training of medical students, dinarily, come to race doctors, if the latter had the vision and courage to pool their medical intelligence, means and interests, and operate similar institutions where they can better serve suffering humanity. There is no law on any state's statute book forbidding or prohibiting Negro physicians from operating clinics and hospitals, and there is no law on any state's statute book for this purpose. What is true in the medical profession, is likewise true in the allied professions, such as dentistry and pharmacy. If Negro dentists would organize themselves into dental firms and work collectively, it would be surprising to note the increased volume of business and an improvement in dental service. Negro dentists would be involved in a joint effort to practice law as individual alternatives, for collective or group thinking and planning has far more distinct advantages than individual thinking and planning. Negro grocers will be forced to the wall, if they do not combine their forces, buy and advertise collectively and seek to meet competition from other stores operating in the communities in which they work. Realizing the need of collective action along this line, the National Negro Business League, headed by Dr. R. R. Moton of Tuskegee, is organizing Colored Merchants' station in various sections of the country; this fine type of work being under the direction of Alfonz L. Holsey, secretary both of the league and the institute. Negro dressers should be organized, as well as beauticians, hair dressers and manicurists. If Negro printers had an organization and functioned as similar bodies are doing among other races in this country, their business would increase, their plants expand, more members of the race would be given employment and the printers themselves would soon become independent. The race realizes the benefits to be derived from and organized efforts and addresses itself resolutely to the task, it (the race) must content itself with the crumbs which fall from the tables of other races. THE HOUSTON INFORMER. SATURDAY, APRIL 12, 1930 By DR. WALDO J. HOWARD Houston Dentist WHY WE SHOULD CARE FOR OUR TEETH Some of the reasons we should give our teeth good care are the great effort and the effect on the general health. One happens to us as so unfortunate as to not have them immediately replaced, heaps of our teeth are left in the shape of his teeth in speech or expression; for losing all of our teeth we experience and proportionally does the loss of any one tooth effect the teeth in a healthy condition. In this, we should try to retain our teeth in a healthy condition, to the loss of all or any of our teeth in the power of expression, is magnified in the contour of the face is built around the loss of any or all of our teeth and the heavily have its effect on our appearance. Each tooth is placed in the dental arch for a specific purpose and should be immediately replaced by a restoration for restoring or restoring for restoring as near as possible the lost member or member. We see and appreciate the value of the denture even though we may delay it. To insure yourself of the best substitute for your lost teeth, you should be convenient after they have been removed. With the modern methods used now in dentistry one need not worry over the replacement, but they then replaced immediately. (We don't want to convey the idea to neglect the replacement, but we can replace, for no substitute can replace nature in its normal function.) To help one to good health, dental toothpaste helps one to good health, ammonia and the nourishment of the body should be indicative of our desire for clean teeth. If we have an ancient tooth in an unclean mouth, the clean wholesome food taken in the mouth becomes contaminated. The teeth, which enters the mouth, are easily digested. Because this food enters the stomach in such an unclean mouth, it must aid in digestion and aid in digestion is overtaxed and the body is deprived of the proper If we would stop and think that eighty per cent of all sickness comes from unclean teeth and mouths, we would even our teeth better.
