Guy and as far as we are concerned or know, no change will be made to gobble up this place from a colored man, but just who will be named in case a new county attorney succeeds Mr. Jetmore we are not able to dictate, say decide or conjuncture, but holding meetings for this small place is secondary believing the Republicans to be on the square. It appears to an editor in ou position that we are up against it on account of the city administration in majority against us. But that doesn't matter we don't ask any municipal officer or Policeman to tell an untruth for us, all we want is the right thing and if they will do that we will win out. The little girl's papa agreed to take care of the pig until it and it's offsprling amounted to enough to buy an organ. The pig grew and multiplied and in fifteen months after the pig came into the hands of the little girl it and its offspring were sold for $49.55. Speaking of curious accidents the Lyndon People's Herald says a young man in town was stabbed with a lead pencil last week and has since been carrying a his head in sling. Unwilling juror story from the Anthong Bulletin: Among the large number of Harper county people summoned into court last week in an effort to secure a jury in the Kornstett murder case, there was one farmer who evidently did not want to serve.
