AMERICA EXCLUDES THE JAPANESE
Those who may have imagined that they were limited to the Pacific Coast where they had become so numerous as to become unwelcome comments that section now may be convinced that there is no love for them anywhere in America; at least that section was not the exclusive act as passed by Congress last week. Of the opinion that the exclusion of these people was due only to the absolutely solid-ity of the white people of America on other aspects of their experiences on other all questions where another race is involved. It is clear that many who really thinks that the exclusion of these people is in direct evidence as proclaimed by the Americans who founded this nation They rebel that the Japanese who have been deceived more than they have consumed and therefore are highly productive. They may know all that the Americans are the acre to come to the rescue of their kinsman of like color against a condition that they find distance.
Wrong though they may be, in their action there is a lesson to us that, if taken will prove high!

profitable. While americans are powerful human resources and fail to together, in matters financial or otherwise their actions are the same. They are for each other what they are. To this rule there no exceptions.
More attention to the cultivation of this trait among us will lead to greater investment. We must learn to stand together for our own improvement with the same stewardship we do to the concerns of others. There must come a time when to this rule there will be no variance. Then and only then will we be able to see the realization of our hopes for great accomplishment.

Port Worth, Twelve April 80—The St. James Church of this city, Dr. J. H. Winn, pastor is moving to the University of Missouri to moth program in a very pleasing manner; its budget for the year 1954, being $18,000.00, is being kept up by the University. Sunday was a glorious day, the same being Easter, which was appropriately observed. The pastor desired a 6:00 o'clock A. M. Haster morning; he used for a topic "The Risen King" and was idealistic and impressive, being very forceful in its delivery. The Sunday school hour was really idealistic; the students were divided into the Junior division of the of the Haster program; 450 Easter eggs were distributed by the Sunschool. The Junior division was into membership, two of whom were candidates for baptism. The regular session of the B. H. P. Y. excellent program was rendered.
The "Twilight Concert" was all one could just expect, the various audience to many new numbers. The musical concert treating the huge audience to many new numbers. The formal Life at the night service, it was full of wholesome advice and helpful admonition. It will appear at St. James Baptist Church in special recital for the benefit of the church, Monday night, April 26. Miles Warner, a musician and music of music of the City of Fort Worth, and one of the most brilliant must-embriaded Japanese Kimono and valuable purple purse was overlooked. What a mark, marked
recognition by Colored People of the
value of life insurance is the great
increases of 1923 of the leading
companies owned and operated
civitatively by Negroes. One of these
companies, alone, had an increase of
nearly Two Million in insurance in

Collected People Making New Uses of Insurance
The new trend in the insurance world of issuing policies to cover the needs of individuals and businesses in the event of the death of its principal officer, the providing of funds for the education of its employees. The former forms of indemnity has had much to do with the great increases in the number of policies issued. This is the reason that the people who are beginning to understand these various uses to which insurance companies are attached School Established by Insurance Company
A noteworthy feature of one of the outstanding insurance companies is the Standard Life Insurance Company by the Standard Life Insurance Company of a School of Life Insurance which takes to train men in practical methods of selling insurance, collected from the experience of the men in the school. The seeks by careful investigation into the history and development of the idea of insurance and its scientific basis, and the appreciation for insurance salesmen a modern appreciation of insurance as a no-nonsense form of insurance the School of Life Insurance Salesmanship established by this
periences of its earliest graduates who declare that the course pursued gives them a broader vision of the world and a deeper understanding of the scientific principles, and places them in position to obtain maximum results in their work as assistant teachers for Insurance Expected in 1924. The problems which the big interest of the States are now concerned with have to do with the uses of life insurance as a conservator of business interests and wide-wake heads of business enterprises who have never previously realized that life insurance can be used to save. In providing old age pensiones, as collateral for loan, as a protection of mortgages—in case of death of a parent—as a means of providing situations, are now giving increased attention to these features of insurance. The missionary work in education in 1923 will doubtless be reflected in increased demands for these forms of protection in 1924.
PEDALIC COUNCILS COMMISSION ON THE CHURCH AND RACE RELATIONS ENDORSES COLUMBIA NATIONAL SALON TO OUTPASS NEGRO STUDENT
Upon learning that Dean Herbert E. Hawkes of Columbia University had decided to accede to the request of Mr. W. Mellie, Neuro law student in Furnal Hall, be courted from his room, Dr. George E. Hayes of Columbia University, Church and Racies Relations, of the Federal Council Church, wrote a statement of the firm liberal stand which the Dean had taken against such "Tour statement that men who do not like the democratic policy of the University residence hall can go to the mendation of all liberal minded alumna as well as others who believe in the opportunity for all America." Dr. Hayes also wrote to Mr. Wells using him to stand firm and explain the following words: "As an alumnus of the University and as privileges, I commend the position you have maintained in what is by no means a personal gift to your personal interest but also for the academic
coping with Neuro youth. There is also involved a principle of freedom vital to every American of whatever creed or color whether in academic hall or out of them. May you there, stand firm in your determination to remain where you are. This Commission on the Church and Race Rhetorics, and the Federal Council which it is a part, is ready to assist you in this matter in any needed way."
