How I Keep Feeling Young and Vigorous at Near Sidy
"I am near 80 years, but I feel as young as I did at 30. I take a cupful of Bulgarian Tea once or twice a week. I keep me healthy and strong and makes me feel for young again," said H. H. Von Schlick, manufacturer of Bulgarian Tea.
Bulgarian Tea is a great blood tonic and you should enrich it refresh and improve their blood. Just a few doses of Bulgarian Tea and you begin to feel a change. Bulgarian Tea is accompanied of the parthenic high medicinal value and should make any one feel 10 to 30 years younger when taken once or twice a week. It is the sensible blood tonic for everyone. Ask your drugstaff for my name on the box. Refuse substitutes. Or I will send it by mail gestated for 90 days address H. H. Von Schick, Doppe Marvel Building, Pittsburgh, Pa.

his water, bolstered the white feather, neither has it been digged by the yellow streak. It is not affiliated with the floral mouth. It is a plain, every day, sensible, constructionive onion with the passing breast; it flies as a dainful fly. It infuses a patriotism as broad as our country. Its love of ewam hand-flicted covers all the territory accepted by the human race. This is greatly high ground, but we live on it and are proud of it. We stand on it and stand with us. This ground is help.
So it is with life among all peoples and with great movements. They can never die with the death or failure of a single individual if they be behind them the public opinion that does not wink at wrong doing; an opinion that sees that men are faille but that the hopes of men that become men will out-last the influence for evil of a single individual.

MOTHER'S DAY
Coolidge Becomes The Master of G. O. P. Destiny
When the history of the present administration of the Republican party is written the name of Calvin Coolidge will be written in letters so large as to over-shadow that of all others. In the short space of the months that have elapsed since the death of Harding he has given to the administration a new direction and to party politics a new direction. Before he took the reins, political expedition was the slogan of those who for years had driven the affairs of the party in the direction which they thought they should go. But with his accession all of that is seemingly changed. He it is who directs because it has been found that his judgment is unerring and his ability to think for himself as well as for others is unquestioned.
Never since the days of Roosevelt has such a powerful and yet unassuming president had the reins of the government in charge. Coolidge it is who selects his lieutenants and who passes upon the movements which are to guarantee the failure of the party in the contest that is so close at hand.
In the contemplation of the rise of this man there is to be seen a fair example of what efficiency and common sense can accomplish. Without bluster or noise Coolidge has become known as the "whip" rather than the "whipped" as is usually the case where politics is concerned. How successful the outcome of the affairs of the Grand Old Party will be in the future cannot now be determined but it is certain that from the moment all concurs are rather willing to be guided by the political sense of this little tight lipped man from New England.
And our mothers; black mothers, those old faced beings with the Nihon being good, the Nihon being bad, the Nihon being cunning. What have they not done to the children whom the world now warrants to protect, whom the world hopes, even in the days of chastet slavery when the ties of home were not thought to apply to those children whom the world told their children of a day in which they would, even as others, be killed. The world, told their children of a day regulated homes; created in them a love of the good and beautiful. The world, told their children to think of a day when their bodies, would no longer be freely used, grounded for more human things. And on so till the days of actual freedom, when they worked hard, when they had last resisted of strength over wash ice and framing boards, that we,
His New England sagacity will do more for the party than the machinations of all of the former bosses did in the days of yore. Oil has rather played an important part in the decision to thus allow the affairs of the party to be thus handled and who can say that the happening has not had its fortunate effects?
labs and training rooms, that we their children, might have an all-inclusive minister of New York had held an exhibition of dancing for the battle of life. Cervi should be paid a tribute of thanks should be paid a tribute of thanks church world in the adoption by a minister of San Francisco and love transcending all others, of boxing exhibitions before his sermons and dancing exhibitions after his sermons. His explanation of this pro
traction might be more fully trained for the battle of life. Certainly in black mothers, the need for strength thanks and love transcends all others, for they have truly been the mainstay of their lives. There should be no member of any generation since slavery days or slavery in the present, of whose pride in being the son or daughter of such a being. When a mother sacrificed her dignity, sacrificed most greatly, devoted most loved man, had more knowledge of a race whose form was different, our thoughts must turn to our mothers, our inguition when we learn to understand, and help under any and all circumstances, our good angels at all times.
Let McKenzie Day really be a day when those bring mothers abide to know that we are working and worked for them and may our thoughts of those who have been so patient as to lead us into more close application to the lesson which they taught while
bring the service to humanity that they normally did.
There is no need to argue that they are as powerful in their influence as they once were. They are not. And yet they are the need of that service than ever before. Something is wrong. We do not just what it is is. But it is of paramount importance that those most interested in the church and its problems, think seriously of how to bring it again to its rightful place in the lives of the people.

Governor McRae of Indiana, once upon a time that expression was on the lips of thousands and the word of the man was all powerful, not only in the state over whose destinies he presided but in the nation as such it was highly respected. But now the name of McRae is hooted; it brings at once to the mind visions of a felon's cell and the shadow of a disgrace that years of living will not efface. McRae was once a powerful man. His reputation was to be envied. And it was the result of years of painstaking toil and patient effort. But the lust of power overcame him; he began to adopt methods that would not stand the light of day and he failed.
(New York Age)
The fact that New York is a great city where every type of mankind is represented and where everyone is together, at the risk of both parties of course has been set forth in print by fewer writers than those who wrote for Dorsey, came to New York from Texas, under his name of O. Hewry, wrote some wild stories of White Old Hip, a man who curved the spirit of an era not passing away. A more recent work by James L. Cohen in his newspaper style of life on the East Side and Coney Island before the frowks made it a popular bar, in one of his volumes in picture, pluried the experiences of a colored family from the South of the Tenderloin district.
Such is life. The case of this governor is one with which to point a moral or to adorn a tale for it has been spectacular. Early in the morning, governor of a state, less than an hour later, no longer a governor but a felon, convicted and waiting to be taken to his place of punishment and there to stay for many months. Truly in this case the depth of his fall is to be measured by the heights to which he rose. And in less time than it takes to tell the story, McAfee will be only a memory in the life of the every day American.
But the lesson for us from the case of this great man who fell, lies not so much in moralizing upon the greatness of his fall nor on the heights to which he rose before his fall. The lesson lies in realizing that he and his whole career, though for a time they were so closely linked with the welfare of the state in which he lived, will not materially alter the final successful continuance of that state. His life was only an incident in its history, and even as he fell, others of its great men may fall but the state and the genius of the state will go on to the fulfillment of the destiny laid out for it.
None of these writers, however, imagined a more curious combination than was presented in the book. He was a reporter by an alert reporter of the Herald Tribune. He head as follows: "A giant Negro in verbal dispute with a policeman in the Tampa Bay subway站站 the 9 o'clock crowd yesterday morning when the listeners-in realised the entire unpleasant conversation was being carried on in Hilda."
Indiana will proceed along its originally conceived lines of progress. Another governor will come and others and Indiana will succeed. The state did not become discouraged with the failure of one and declare that there was no use in continuing with its old form of government. It realized, as it should, that only the agent was to blamit and it rid itself

Evil may be found in high places; those in whom we place the greatest faith may disappoint; but they must be known only for what they are, incidents in the life of a people and not permanent hindrances to their progress. Can this be learned as it should, there will be no real lamentation over the failures that now seem to numm the senses of the people; but the failures that seem to fail. But with each failure there will come a greater desire to succeed which will express itself in building again on the site of the former failure and rearing there on a structure made more permanent by the lessons learned.

My head was in a whirl. I was completely contended. Had she thrown a little light on him, she dropped a few sticks having to do with something that had occurred in her glibbed days. Probably it was the old human caving for me. I was not sure of the old human penchant for nousing in dark closets. Maintinurition is a chronic condition in which there are no apparent lesions, but a decidedly faulty nutrition. This condition is a matter of months or more, often of years. The condition is often associated with an aged parent, and where there is an alcoholic syphilis, or tuberculosis taint in the family it may result from some severe disease from which the child does not recover its strength. It may be caused by lack of food, fresh air and exercise. The children are often underweight and badly developed. They are under-sized, under-weight, flathead, pale and aniseed. The circula-

St. Augustine—I want to take off my hat to Prof. Nathalie W Coller, president of the Normal and Industrial institute, located in St. Augustine, and intend to be the leading institution in Florida for the training of our students. If they please to be trained him, I have told you about Prof Coller from time to time, and alas, he has not been the real man yet, and I will never be able to tell you who he is and what he is doing for rachis and for the poor. He does a living wonder, and an educated wizard. He has been right in one place for over 20 years and made it for 20 and has grown with it.
While Prof. Collier has has full charge of the whole school he has been born into and with it he has charged young women—in fact her life is wrapped up in the work she has done with her young women by the hands of young thirty or more years she has been in the work—and to do this she has been broad hearted—in fact your heart must be fully consecrated to service, and serving a thankless people at times, for such a service that they would destroy the hen which the golden egg if they could have been a tribute to the wonderful and to say to the public that her life has been dedicated to God and to the cause of education of
For years this school has stood in what was known as the ark. Yet it answered the training of the youth for years, and then they thought it would be fine to have a school like that in their locality, so they invited Prof. Collier to lead the meeting. The Chamber of Commerce and the citizens that a committee was formed to extend the invitation and Prof. Collier, backed up by the Trus-ter, and down and see about it. I had the pleasure of being on the committee. They gave some offers in the spring.
Perhaps you want to know what happened, and I will tell you. After the commission returns and the captain ceased and the school moved to St. Auckland. The people who moved here have about 850 acres of land, one of the finest locations in Florida, and the school has been built. Buildings of a temporary have been erected, and the first permanent building was dedicated in 1910. It is known as Founders Day and the dedication of Andrew Hall, and I have there to see you. There there to have seen for yourself. At 10 o'clock in the morning, we are exercises in the new chapel, and I am rendered, and Charles Stewart delivered the address. I am not going to communicate on his address, but he should shock his hanson. Prof. Colter, of course, presided. Then followed in the afternoon the dedication.
This will open your eyes. I am sure, for the dedication took place
