WE HAVE A RIGHT TO EXPECT RECIPROCITY
The management of The Express has generally been recorded the reputation for being ruthless in the upbringing of the race with which it comes in contact. It has even been known to go out of its way to force large expanse in the obtaining of news of these consecents which are as those which are already open going in the state. the insurance companies doing business among our people in the country, and in its issue of last week, it carried extensive notice of its own insurance customers. The Express feels that in making statements of this sort, it is important that its customers for this company must be Negroes. The time has not yet been able to carry white policy holders. The company which is the public figure out about that company, for so far as it is known, no whois in its name, and no public contact to Towne. Then why should the Company keep the information in the company in the matter of its paid matter as it has in other cases. The Express realizes that it may be relied upon that this company has a public whois, it please, and

STANDARD LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY ON TOP!
It is indeed gratifying to announce to the thousands of policy holders and to the public generally, the financial condition of the STANDARD LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, WITH HEADQUARTERS AT ATLANTA, GA.
In January, 1923, the Standard Life Insurance Company, passed from Napa ownership to the Southern Insurance Company of Tennessee in settlement of obligations which the company could not meet, with no surplus and no reserve behind the policies impaired. As a result of the insufficiency of the company, it surrendered its charter and the Southern Insurance Company of Tennessee absorbed its businesses and the Standard Life pole of the loss. It lost its identity in the great volume of the Southern's. One year later it was found that the company had back good and strong with all its assets. It was then acquired by a legal protection and a policy holder of $82,970,046.00. In one year under the wise and economic management of Mr. Harris and his associate, a deficit of a half million had been converted into surplus of guile a quarter of a million. The Standard Life Insurance Company of Arkansas took up the proposition with the proviso that it would reaffirm the business of the company to Negroes at any time within ten years. The company is now in the best position and the Standard Life Insurance Company is in better condition now than it has ever been both from the standpoint of the stockholders and the policy holders. The surplus to both the stockholders and the policy holders is larger than if it has ever been since its organization in 1913. The policy holder has nothing to fear. Just at 9:30 and watch your investment grow. The financial condition of the Company is the best ever and the personnel of the Company are the best. AND THE NECESSARY LEGAL RESERVE. THE NECESSARY LEGAL RESERVE. THE OFFICERS ARE CAPABLE
