- Fifth Court of Civil Appeals Holds Dallas Law Prescribing Residential Boundaries For Races is in Violation of Constitution. City Will Appeal is Claim
Holding that the right to occupy, purchase and sell property may not be prohibited solely because of the sole of the proposed occupant, the Fifth Court of Civil Appeals in an opinion handed down Thursday rule that the aggression caused by the violation of the fourteenth amendment to the Constitution of the United States and was, therefore, void.
The decision was made in the city by the Liberty Anne Corporation which sought to prevent the enforcement of the court surmounted the city's general demurrage when the case was called for trial and dismissed the trial day the higher court reversed the case and sent it back for another trial. The opinion was not filed until the aggression ordinance prohibits either white persons or non-white persons occupying residence purposes the territory designated for use by the jurisdiction of the ordinance is punishable by a fine of from $10 to $200. The higher court held thatemnity might make agreements to mutuate. Find themselves in observance contract agreeing these races in company of land, but that person violating these agreements could not be punished under the criminal law.
The case is one of first impression in Texas, according to local authorities. The identical question has probably been deemed by the United States Supreme Court involving the validity of the ordinance from Louisiana. The city has indicated through its discoveries that it will appeal from the court.

COURT OF FAME SCORES
A GREAT PRESENTA-
TION AT CITY
AUDITORIUM
The Pagetian that was given at the City Hall Auditorium last Friday, Court of Fame, Illustrating the famous characters of the past century was one of the most credible figures in the history of our local talent in Dallas. It was very classical in its style and had a very famous collection of lived famous. The costumes were georgous. The participants improvised those who contribute to building sentiments of living deeds. M. I. H. P. W., who sat in her chair, characters came out and made their box that exhibited the programs into words of congratulations. Who so wisely replayed the play deserves great credit for her mastery and who directed the music also is to be congratulated for the arranged music that was in harmony with all. Did well. The Court of Fame is now in demand for repetition. It will do well for the public to avail themselves of attendance and see a classical and artistic Pagetian, where our own characters measure up to any one idea.
