his adult, this year graduated as a sociological感应 he is regarded by capitalists as a dangerous man and therefore unsuited for them. He was unable to manage, working conditions and the rights of men. Randolph wanted what he would do if requested to resign. Mr. Randolph and he were ready to make any sacrifices for the men. I will resign, by so doing a bona fide idle man, and the company can get together — I would not stand in the door. This statement on the part of Mr. Randolph gave the lie to those who so gloriously accused him of perverse interest in person matters and monetary gain. It showed conclusively that he has been adversely interested in the welfare of the man and has been unable to persuade the betrayer of humanity can he always contend successfully with his sincerity. His sincerity pronounced "dowling Thomas."

Texas Republican politics seems to get more muddled as time goes on and the lines are becoming more and more tighly drawn as the days go by. The hope expressed by The Independent Voice here is a bull meeting seems to be for a form one and those who sponsor such a movement may be well off out for those whose public careers and, personal capacities them as big enough to sense the need of harmony in the disponible rank of diplomatic procedure in the conduct of the affairs of those whose duties will involve the desired results in the last analysis.
Such a capable representative in William P. Gage.
business man of Dallas and president of The People's Finance Corporation of Dallas that he may run for delegate at large from the state. And it seems to the Ex-Employees seeking worthy standard bearers as well as those who need the need of an honorary organization in this state, can center honor on them, and whole heartily for the place which he will seek. The place which he will seek, of those who have become contented with the procedure of exclusion which has made party in Texas for the past eight years. It is deduplicated that those who do not agree in any particular with such procedure, Mr. Hinckley. He is contingent in the expression of his manlike in his method of approach to the problems of public policy and best of all, of the property of the party of his choice lies in the inclusion of the party of Lincoln and of Grand, within its folios. It is of the sort that is welcomed by the large army of Democratic voters who, for the sake of the party, had no such thinkers at the head of the party, and that they have not had any such standard bearers. And it appears that they have many eques or if it does not, there can be no mistake in thinking definitely in terms of supporting William Gage for delegates from the state.

TEXAS TO HOLD REAL COLORED STATE EXPOSITION
Word has been received from the National Negro Progressive Association, and they are well under way to give to the people of Texas one of the greatest events that has ever taken place in the United States, at present a complete carveout of the State in order to allow the Negro progress and achievements since the zone was sound. According to advance reports that have been found to have wayward intentions, pointy wavy favorable toUTE, an entitlement to be hung up for the Negro country is centered on this event. It should be the centennial, and make the another Dallas celebration of the friction of fairness on the part of the sponsors of the Statewide White Party, quite a distance from the other parts of the State, that many, they have heartily agreed.

THE DALLAS EXPRESS
THREE WEEKS AGO when The Express published the letter of Prof. Fuller proposing a union of all of the Baptists of Texas, it felt that it was performing a service for the thinkers of that denomination. Now it knew that it did; for already, according to another letter from Prof. Fuller, three leaders in that church have already indicated that they favored a movement. Rev. E. Arlington Wilson, leader of one of the large convictions that signified the end of the civil war, told the hour of Galveston has done the same thing. And Prof. J. R. Lee of Florida has declared that "it is time the Baptists are using good judgment and uniting all of their force."

to pass will complete tullfill all of its hopes in that regard. A united Baptist Church would be an almost all powerful institution. It would be enough for all of the really capable men who now are engaged in the work of that denomination. Its schools, now confessedly too numerous, could be united and a university could be made to replace the many small institutions which now stand sadly in need of improved curricula and some more training. Columbia would be enabled and plans now launched without much hope of accomplishment could then be undertaken with confidence and assurance. in the opinion of The Express, and it is actuated only by a desire that Texans may always do the best thing for them. The leaders of the Church could afford to investigate the proposal very closely before deciding that it is impractical and impossible.

Nothing could be more profitable than this plan to organize all of the voters of the race. That this information could be used to organize the race it is considered that never before in all of the history of the race in this state has there ever been an effort to enlist the energies of the whole voting group in any systematic way. Hereforeto, it has rather been left to the choice of holders of poll tax receipts. They have often been left in ignorance of the things expected of them and the majority of them have remained away from the polls. It should not be true this time. The organization should follow up chosen candidates and their supporters. They are encouraged to do their full duty in regard to the work of organization.
The annual "pretty-up campaign" is now being organized here, and this year, we was true last year, there in a division of Nye homes provide. Prizes are given to the most attractive "houses and the content is open to all. The various clubs of the city are working hard to assist as many home owners as possible and many are entering our office. Of course there is joy in win, many such a contest. There is probably no normal person who does not judge the best in any sort of contest. But there is a personal joy in the ownership of a house which cannot be drilled with the passage or the choice of a home with every trip from back home. It is felt every morning with the ruling of the and work to maintain such a place are without measure to every pro-

MORE ABOUT UNPICATION OF NEGRO BAPTIST OF TEXAS
To The Express,
In a previous article, I called attention to the great economic impact of the Negro Baptist movement and development among Negro institutions and aids. I pointed out that the institutions and causes fostered by the movement have unnecessary hardships because of the lack of despair of purpose.
It is estimated that there are more than 100,000 Negro holders of poll tax receipts in Texas. That is a group of voters which might well be desired by any candidate for office. And there can be no doubt that that the more complete organization of these voters will make the demands of the state more difficult to meet. The more easy to be heard. But aside from that aspect of the case, Negroes need to know how to exercise their rights of franchise and they need to be encouraged to do so. The first step in this direction is their organization in such a close way that instructions can be given them and that direct contact with them may be had. If the Independent Party is elected, the Negroes will thing—the organization of Negro voters in Texas, it will

full duty.
R. B. CREAGER, POLITICAL PROPHET
Republican committeeman R. B. Crager of Texas, accompanied by several of those who believe with him, that the best way to build up the Republican party in this state lies in the disfranchisement of Negroes, held a conference in Washington to address President Obama. During this conference the Republican committee pressed that in the event that Al Smith was nominated, Texas would become a battleground between Hoover and Smith. Of course it was assumed that Hoover would be nominated in Kansas City. He did not dare to declare that the majority of the people of Republican tendencies in Texas would not support Mr. Hoover. If does not know. It has no reason to presume that they would not. Nor does it declare that Mr. Hoover is either as good or as not as any other of the presidential possibilities who are now in the public eye. But it does wonder just how Mr. Crager arrives at the conclusion of the debate in the light of the fact that he has contact with so few.
It is a matter of record that, however he arrived at the place of nation committee, Mr. Greater does not control ever a semblance of a party group in this state. His whole regime has been one calculated to tear down rather than support it. He has opposed to and opposed by the only Republican Congressman of the state and there can be no doubt but that the records will show that this Congressman more votes in his district in his race for his office than were polled by the Republican candidate for governor in the last question. And that is not all. There are approximately 90,000 or more votes in his district who can definitely indicate the actual power of. the Greater regime if forced to vote in opposition to him in any election. These he does not control. These he has completely alienated from his standards but not from their love of the Republican party. These he cannot speak for, and he has neither thirds of the potential Republican strength of the state.
it is because of these facts that The Express wonders at his venture to prophesy. - And it feeds that party leaders, knowing of the conditions in Texas, will pay little attention to the state of Texas this year will be more difficult than ever, before.

SINCEY PITTMAN, Supreme Grand President, 02 Horace St, Dixon, O., Texas. My dear Doctor Abington. It is a great joy to me to know that you are offering yourself to the Bishop to take the place of Bishop Brooks in Africa. I know no man better than you work in that, if the church as a whole knew you as well as I know you, your election would be
