COLORED SUPERVISOR
Most Southern cities with large colored populations, and even some Texas cities, have experimented with colored supervisors for colored public schools in the past. They have been judged by the retention of these race supervisors.
Houston school system has more colored schools and teachers than any city in Texas and is exceeded by very few other cities. The opinion that the time is ripe for Houston to appoint some colored educator as supervisor of colored schools.
In a number of cities the principal of the colored high school is supervisor, especially where he does little work. The school system is more executive and administrative work.
With a school system as large and complex as ours, it is hard possible for the white school officials to do justice to the colored schools; not because they are more experienced and maintaining rather than to accord to the colored schools.
A colored supervisor could be of vast assistance to the school board and system in this respect and then be an administrator rather because they do not have the time to accord to the colored schools.
At present our schools are not "hitting on all six" and may be a colored supervisor would serve as the "spark" for the school system and maintaining a high standard among our colored schools.
At present our schools are not "hitting on all six" and may be a colored supervisor would serve as the "spark" for the school system and maintaining a high standard among our colored schools.
The system has grown and expanded beyond the conception of the average person and what was the custom years ago is totally inadequate and insufficient in its design and management.
The informer suggests that our board of education give the matter of education to the students in the schools of the Houston independent school district some serious study and thought; make investigations on the subject; and make sure that he loves Houston will join the other progressive cities of the South in appointing a colored supervisor over the board.
HOW THIS, UNCLE SAM1
There is a downtown sub-postoffice station located in the lobby of a theatre and several colored citizens have been told that the stamps are not being sold at this particular government sub-station to colored people. In the first place, we have never operated the postoffice in the lobby of a movie theatre or, in the next place, we did not know that Uncle Sam tolerated such rank, malicious and unethical behavior in the office department knows anything about this perennis and perfidious practice of this theatrical sub-station. Postmaster Nichols should investigate why a foundation is any foundation to them; for we can not conceive of the idea that a federal postoffice, even though it be called a sub-station, would show clandestine activity in the postage stamps and issuing money orders to citizens and patrons of the government. It such is the policy of the federal postoffice department should do, hand a change in salid policy or locate this sub-station at some other place. Any rate we are going to submit the matter to Postmaster Nichols just now, and knowing him as we do, we are confident that he will prove himself equal to the emergency; a percent of all the people and not a people.

Sunday, to which all church congregations will serve as members of the coronaries at the church. Wells is also planning to cross the relations of double-blendness, perhaps during the summer.

The recent meeting in Atlantic City, N.J., on Monday, the day the city is, an indication of the trend of feeling which political observers strongly declare must be taken into account when voting. It does not take into account the unrest, and the lack of coloured voters, is regarded as no strategy at all. The city's hospital situation, with its uncertain fate, and the hold over the city's leadership over the hand of the government, continues to occupy the center of the stage. U.S.V. HOSPITAL
Civil Service Bureau Said to Have Certified Washington Physician for Position.
HINES ISSUES REPLY
Tells Southerners an All White Personnel Is Not Acceptable to Harding.
Washington, D. C.-Dr. T. Edward Jones, 509 O. Street, northwest, has been the city's Civil Service Bureau for the past 40 years and is at the War Veteran's Hospital at Tuskegee.
This is an unofficial report current business in Chicago. Cory Browne's statement that Dr. Fred D. Whitney is to be neurologist, Dr. H. Burwell Brooke is to be tuberculosis expert. All of Dr. Jones is said to have been put at the top of the list of the Critic, Dr. ekhney, the only other applicant to the cause of his excellent service over the years.
Asked what he would do if ordered to report for service at the Tuskegee Hospital, Dr. Nigel Nephrology have been made, Dr. Robert Nephrology have been ordered to report, I would report.
Hines Issues Statement.
In a statement issued today, Director James of the Veterans Bureau, turned over the documents to an all-white personnel. He also declared that he was not intimidated by the Ku Klux Klan as charged in the case. When in Tukuece recently Gen. Hines asked what the white residents of the city were doing to burrow the plan. Gen. Hines stated today, was for white control of the hospital throughout as was the hospital throughout as was the hospital throughout.
60 Per Cent Colored.
Sixty per cent of the hospital personnel at present is colored and there are many patients receiving treatment. G. Hines said. The nurses, attendants and inpatient nurses are white. The physicians are white. G. Hines added that the bureau found a problem with the doctors for the ward surgeons. "We have not satisfied ourselves as to the need for the doctors and of course we are not going to put anybody in there we do not consider providing care for the ward. The best treatment, but the Negroes want the responsibility of caring for the purpose of the policy of the bureau and what President Harding wanted the purpose of the policy of the bureau." Director Hines' attitude indicated the shift from white to colored physician. The prospects are that the whites on the blacks will be satisfied with the burrow's solution of the problem, as the Negroes declare they are caring for their sick and injured without either a white commander or whites are banking on the hospital when the sick was built it would have white control. Colored people were in recent letters stated that the hospital must have all-colored patients.

Darwinism is the doctrine that later species or forms of animals and plants evolve by means of natural selection, by one process of natural selection, and by another process of natural selection.
