MISS MLA SMITH'S STORY
I have a most wonderful story, to
walk you in regard to your most ex-
pensive remedy—Washawa, but must
cut a long story short. It so happen-
that as I was coming from a
doctor's office I met the Indian boy,
your demonstrator. I had a pres-
cription then to be filled, put in
stead of doing so I bought a bottle
on Washawa. I was in a bad state
of health all run, down with stimu-
ch, kidney, bladder and blood trouble.
I must say that the one bot-
tle I have taken has done me more
good than anything I have ever taken.
I think it the most wonderful
remedy on the market. All of the
soreness has gone out of my stomach
and also out of my back. I am
going to stay with your tonic till I
am entirely well. I can not help
but recommend it to my friends who
are suffering and are in ill health.

HILL'S C. B. Q. Tablets are best by test.
Try this simple experiment*
1 Drop a C. B. Q. Tablet on a glass of clear water.
2 Lastly the tablet begins disintegrating or "breaking up"
3 In 10 seconds the medical properties are thoroughly mixed with water.
Thus, Hill's C B Q Tablets act immediately, give relief without delay and begin checking Colds and La Grupe long before ordinary tablets, by actual test, are absorbed by the stomach juices. To prove this, subject other than C. B. Q Tablets to the test, and observe that in most instances an hour or more is required for complete disintegration.

Ward Chapel, A. M. R. church, under the leadership of Rev. G. E. Pettigrew, formerly of Liberty, Mo. is doing nicely. Every department has been organized and all are at work as never before. The finances have been doubled as well as the attendance, and the outlook for the future is very bright. The Junior Stewardcases led by Sister Ida Swan gave a social Monday night which was a success.
The church is preparing to celebrate the 162 Anniversary of the Sainted Richard Allen, founder and first Bishop of the A.M.E. church on Sunday Feb 12. The ministers and members of the sister churches are expected to be present and all friends are welcome.
The Ladies Aid led by Sister Famie Ramsy will give an entertainment Thursday night for the Trustees.
The hour of Sunday School has been changed from 9:30 to 2:30 in the afternoon. Already the results for good can be seen. It is the hope and aim of the Superintendent Mrs. E. L. Taylor to build up a great Sabbath School. The Allen Christian Endeavor under the leadership of Mrs. Amanda Tucker is doing fine.

World War Conditions Brought Out New Remedy More Available Than Gland Treatments The effects of premature age, physical weakness, and the persistent deficiency of vital power in men and women in Europe during the world war, forced leading medical authorities to the need of devising a successful corrective treatment The privations of war, in the field and at home, including the "Flu" left millions in a deplorable condition. Effective treatment was developed with remarkable results in renewing vigor and vitality in men and women.
The secret of renewed vigor—the vigor of youth—is the treatment, in this country called Korex Compound. This remarkable restorative comes in tablets and is more available than the much discussed Gland treatments.
If you lack vital power; if you lack the strength and vitality that you ought to have, try Korex without risk for its cost. It contains no habit forming or harmful drugs. Its action is upon the central nervous system, and improved condition is usually known in a few days.
If you suffer the bandicap of physical weakness, you can use this treatment under the positive guarantee of satisfaction. Distributed and guaranteed only by the Melton Laboratories 823 Massachusetts Bldg, Kansas City, Mo. Send $200 for double regular box, postpaid in plain wrapper.. Or if you prefer, send no money, but pay the postman $200 and the few cents postage package arrives. If the results from its use are not entirely satisfactory, the $200 will be cheerfully and immediately refunded upon request.
Korey thus means renewed strength and vigor and increased enjoyment in life, or money bark without question.
An unusual opportunity to make big money and to build up a good, steady business is offered to 1 or 2 men or women in our city by the Pledmont Drug Co. of Cleveland, Ohio. They are looking for a hustling man and woman to take the Agency for their famous Family Remedies and Toilet Goods. Their Preparation are all guaranteed and are all big sellers and reputers.
