THE DALLAS EXPRESS has never hoisted the white matter, but rather now the yellow streak. It is not afflicted with the flames of the day, weight, tenacity, invertebrate, water, which trims so hard to catch the men on the coastline. It probes a patriotism as brass as our country, like its own, covers all the carriery occupied by the human race, ground but we it and are prospering. Days of the great come up and stand with this nation. W. R. KING.
CHURCH VOTE TO DROP COLOR HAB AT CONVENTIONS
The Federal Council of Church is an organization composed of several of the leading denominations, white, black, and blue. Recently the Executive committee of this organization not in Cleveland and among other things adopted a resolution urging all churches to place their places of meeting for the purpose that provision be
made for delegates of other than the white race and that every precaution be taken to protect such brethren against embarrassment from any form of harassment. The resolution adopted attention to the fact that "the question of enforcing the 18th amendment has become an outstanding moral issue of our land." No one knows more, just in enforcing and probably more by enforcing more of the principle.
cleverly to the way the church has come to the point of looking at the world. The church has come to be adopted by the churches of today for the reason that he has come to believe in the importance except as good political stakes and wills and as unpopular supposing believers in the prefaces of the Christmas of this year to the end of caskering the facing of the naked and brutal animals in this present America and of the natural exaggeration of the wanderings of the earth. The news of such exhilaration is interesting but not con
For it is this same church group which goes to church on Sunday and visits the church on Monday, which its Negro library is forced to. Lo angustia Jesus answered by preformed Christians, in New York, when they are conscious of the branches of actual human beings when they are conscious of the branches of actual human beings. They themselves, continue among the diffrences of multitude of actual citizens of the same city, in the name of Jesus Christ. We say, the majority of them for Jesus Christ, the minority for some slaves. Not all, but nearly all. And we do not expect that our congregation will do any of the things that the Lord expels will forbid it.
"Under such a program" continues the editorial, "we would have something substantial upon which to base the hope for a more law-saving city and a better day." It is by no means withholdable that the situation in southern cities is different from that in northern cities, practically the case in every city of the south particularly where "The Negro has grown to maturity in an atmosphere of ignorance and crime" and in a section where no premium has been placed upon home life and its improvement. It is rather hard to imagine any other genet, from the sort of indifference which characterizes so many of the black communities in the south, than they not only do not try to improve the condition of their Negro citizens but they even go to the lengths of making it necessary that they continue to live in these "atmospheres of ignorance and vice." Crowded homes along crusades and mary mudholes in sections of the city naturally useless for any other purpose are regular breeding places for disease and uncleanliness.
capacity so small that they cannot hope for material economic independence, poor schools which must continue to be poor because of the fact that public sentiment declares that "Negroes do not need the same amount of training as do others." What else is there to expect for reduction of a state's servitude? It is that the state will need many other beautiful natural creations owe their being to such surroundings. But human beings are different. They thrive and grow in soul and mind as the result of environment which was to support and strengthen the state so objectively.
The amount of Negro crime in Memphis is considered unusually large according to The Commercial Appeal, leading daily of that city, which in its editorial of a few days ago, stated that four times as many Negroes died homicide death than did whites according to population. In assigning a reason for this unusually high number it had the following to say: "a fitting home environment and the proper training of heart and mind are absolutely essential in order to prevent the growth of criminal tendencies in those who are passing through the formality periods of their lives.
"In the effort to eradicate the criminal tendencies of the Negro the problem is almost entirely that of education—a spiritual, moral" mental. The temperament of the Negro such that there is little hope of reforming him who has already begun a career of crime. The Negro who has grown to maturity in an atmosphere of ignorance and vice has little fear of the law when for any reason, he is aroused and the legal penalty prescribed for crime seldom stays his hand.
WE AGREE WITH MR. EVERMAN
It is probably true that the average person in Dallas who is forced by circumstance to ride the street cars will not be materially interested in the technicalities which are involved in the arguments of the street car company with Mr. Everman, supervisor of Public Utilities in Dallas; but all of them are vitally interested as well as exceedingly pleased with the news that his recommendations are to the effect that the increased fare be refused the car company. And particularly is this true of the Negro riding public which, at best, in no position to stand the increased expense of transportation to and from jobs which support them and their families but meagerly.
All of this is the opinion of The express despite the published letter of one member of the race who, for the purpose of attracting attention to himself, it seems, agreed that the car company should have the increased fare. It is unthinkable that a group of people as poverty stricken as are the Negro inhospes of this city could welcome any addition to their already very heavy burdens of debt and current expense.

Then a friend old her about Hi-Ja Beauty Ointment. The pimple and the blotches were too darkly, simply skin warmer. A creamy beautiful softness took their place.

many hearts on holy fire—how much such a thing can be brought his congratulation to us today? He was the first to open and prescribe a book, and prescribe a meal needed today. The closer we study these stories the more wonderful Jesus becomes to us, think. He was Creator of all beings, king of kings, and Lord of lords, and His pleasure was the inexhaustible store house of His Heavenly Father, who gave us His journey, despite the distance, were made on foot, he was thankful for a cup of water as He made His toil journey over the dusty roads and up and down the hills, and asking only for a piece of bread from the village to be honored with His presence and ministrations of us.

JESUS MISSUERDERSTOOD AND OPPOSED
Mark 3:19-35; 6:1-6.
GOLDEN TEXT: He came unto his own, and they that were his own, received him not. But its many as received him, to them he gave the right to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name.
By Chas, W. Abington
Matthew 12: 12-24, 20, and Luke 11: 14-20, we find the important connecting links between our present lesson story and the one studied last week, while the selecting of the biblical stories is recorded Matt. 10: 2: 21-18, and Luke 6: 1-10. The life of the man of sorrow who was acquainted with grief, his sin is questioned by his family and friends, placing a painful strain upon those sacred ties so, dear to Him, the maltigant charge is made by the scribes who had come down from Jerusalem, that He was in league with them, and that they were in power, and He had been again rejected at Nazareth, the home of his childhood. He is still at the height of popularity, but. His enemies are constantly increasing in numbers and evil determination. Jesus attended the twelve chosen men and a large number of sympathetic disciples, and He was to health from incurable diseases, attuna to Capernaum. Missionary journeys through regions of Galilee where He had preached the gospel and healed the sick in their towns, villages and countryside.
It was not an unusual sight to see a great and popular able or teacher tour the country with a great train of followers, and the orientation attining to the leader was not dressed in the orientations attining to the gospel. There were no large tassels ornamented His simple harp, while there was an symmetrical enthusiasm and consolation about the group which marked them peculiar people. During the
bridge the between Washington and Baltimore. Dr. Alex Gerald Bell was considered a mad man with a usefulness. Gerald Bell was first telephone on exhibition at the Center for International Studies in Baltimore, and added mud to entertain the idea that he could get rid of arrogacy and still preserve the Union. Richard Allen was considered a religious fanatic in the midst of a brain storm in the Church and held the foundation of Mrs. E. M. Church and the worlds benefactions have been those who have had the courage to be different from their neighbors.
1—The Sanity of Jesus Questioned
The report reaches Nazereth that Jesus is at Capernaum that thronged with multitudes and so occupied with the crowd that does not take time to eat. His kin people decide that he must have given away the worlds benefactions have been those who have had the courage to be different from their neighbors.
Being just a days journey, they decide to go and take charge of Him — get Him home, away from the crowd with the hope that He might be restored to his position. He is made up, and they send for Jesus in the midst of Him — get Him home, and bothers were outside and desired to see Him. Ever ready with a reply to any interruption, taking around on His disciples, He asked, who were His mother and brother? and then uttered a truth which has been the subject of much debate — that those who do the will of God, His mother, it is stranger that people can shout themselves
hoarse, throw their hats in the air, jump up on the seats and cheer for hours at the games, prize fights, political rally, or at the theatre, but when one becomes enthusiastic, differ as to the extent that Mary shared the opinion of the rest of the family auto the condition of Jesus. Some think she was in full sympathy with their Nees, while others propose the conflict that their attempt to bring Him from His work would be likely to create. When Paul was speaking before the king with spiritual power, the king would make the mad. "We need more of such sanity. Doth make the mad." We need more of such sanity.
2.—The Charge of the Scribes.
3.—Nazeretz has its Last Chance.
Once before Jesus had been cast out of His town, but after His fame had spread far beyond the borders of his village, he came to the town to feed the hood, and is rejected — it is not recorded that He even returned. We should be careful not to miss our last chance.
